Frankie Friday: Frankie Sharp’s positive vibes drew Adam Lambert, Sam Sparro, and more to Santos

If you’re anything like us, you probably had a hell of a time scheduling your Friday night activities this weekend. With the Penthaus still going strong uptown at The Copacabana, XL’s Fetish Ball, and the weekly launch of Ladyfag’s ElevenEleven, some tough decisions had to be made. And as tempting as all of those other parties seemed, we think we make the right choice: the launch of Frankie Sharp’s new Fridays at Santos Party House. With hosts like Casey Spooner, Josephine Halle B, and The House of Mugler—among others—the party lived up to its promise as one of the biggest nightlife launches this winter.

As DJ Nita Aviance werked the DJ booth, go-go stars Jay Roth and David Terzian shook their little money-makers on the bar and onstage among giant gleaming mylar balloons that spelled out “Friday.” We spotted man-candy host William Francis prancing about in a skimpy Cupid get-up, as well as Kelly Gorman, porn star and EasternBloc coat check boy Marcus Isaacs (a.k.a. the DJ formerly known as Tekshur), off-duty go-go Rowan Pierce, The MisShapes’ Greg K., and that Bad Brilliance balloon-head guy. We had a chat with former Sick Cell frontman Angelo Tursi about the record deal his new band, Cubez, just signed. “It’s totally different than anything I’ve done before. We’re going for a completely different market.”

Later we headed downstairs where The House of Ladosha was holding court. We snapped pics of Adam Lambert with Dangerous Muse’s Mike Furey and model Dalton Flint, though when we asked for a quote about the party la Glambert demurred.
