Hello members:
This is my first post, and I hope I can navigate your new system properly!
I wanted to say thank you to all of you creative talented passionate beings for your fan site. The most current information is here, as well as dynamic discussions and a positive attitude. Love it!
Also, thank you to Q3 for your help in planning my trip to NYC to see this concert. I have missed so much in the last few years, real life you know, weddings, babies, deaths, work, renovating a 1917 Georgian Revival.. anyway.. I wanted to see Adam perform at least once for the promotion of Trespassing. The only other time I saw his show was when the GN came to Toronto in 2010. Lucky ones here that have seen him dozens of times!!
On that note, the concert -
Myself, a friend and a family member arrived about 8 ish and were let right in , and we appeared to be one of the last ones seated in the balcony. Downstairs , the presentations were in progress. I spotted Sam Sparro, and located who I thought was Adam ( the hair was a give away ). They were still eating, very late I thought. Adam was very engrossed in the talk, he nodded and applauded often during the presentation. At one point he left with his entourage of four, for pictures upstairs, I assume, then returned with all of them some time later. He stayed at his table during the most of the first performance, then left for backstage, again with the entourage.
He seemed so young and vibrant, free spirited and happy, and attentive . It was lovely to watch.
So onwards to the trio, the intros, the videos are perfect , they captured all of that very well.
What I was so struck by was the constant chatter in the room stopped the moment Adam sang his first note. There was a hush for just a few seconds while he sung the first line " If you should run...". It was as if everyone was holding their breath to catch the sound. Then the cheering began. For that few seconds his crystal clear voice floated over the entire room. It was magical.
Great concert, great band. A little loud I thought, would like to hear the vocals more, but I am selfish that way. Unfortunate about Sam's mike at the beginning, but they all handled it like pros.
It was professional and carefree at the same time, lots of fun. The balcony crowd was having a great time, the floor was too.
But that moment, that was worth everything.

MyS*&@^#r, nobody on twitter mentioned a problem. I am listening to it on iPad from mediafire just fine Trsp is PERFECTION!! I did the other 3 again and it came out the same way. :( It is eardrum hurting static. ETA: Just did them on my computer and they are perfect! So weird! I have never had this problem with my phone before. Gonna try them again! mys*&@^#r - check that ALL the files are MP3s. Perhaps you loaded .wav files on your phone - these would be giving you the noise unless you have special software to play those files. Tina has posted both formats now, so no need to convert, just makes sure to load MP3s.

OT rant and question regarding the photo hosting services: Photobucket has recently done some pretty annoying tricks, the latest one being the addition of a scrambled tag at the end of the name of each photo you upload. This is a feature which they have turned on as a default setting. They are also forcing users to start using the new version of PB which IMO is totally crappy (pardon my French ) I was using the old version and when I finally found the way to turn off the name scrambling, I had to go to the user settings, which forced the switch to the new version and you can't switch back to the old one. I wrote a feedback message to the site and got this as an answer: "We're super excited about the new Photobucket and all its new features, such as stories, an incredible editor, and free full resolution uploads/downloads! That being the case, as of 2/1/2013, we will no longer be supporting the Photobucket Legacy site. The option to opt-out has been removed." This being the case, what are your suggestions for other simple and good photo hosting services? I'm totally fed up with Photobucket right now (and I'm not the only one, if you look at the comments on their site). Please PM me since I don't want to mess the news thread more with this. Sorry, rant over... Does anyone know if I used Photobucket to upload photos here, will they disappear from here if I delete those photos on Photobucket?
