MY FIASCO JUST ARRIVED AND ADAM IS ON THE COVER!! It is a gorgeous picture. When I say he's on the cover...actually it's the back cover but heck I don't care at least I've got his picture on the book cover!

Thanks Iridium for educating me on that silver shoe situation. Did not know that. Wow, I mean, I love Adam, so he can do no wrong, but damn, if he would not have endless immunity with me, I'd say, that this is a tad excessive. Flying a shoe over on a private plane for a group number, when everyone else was just wearing white or some other light grey or something else that would blend in. Could he not spraypaint some old shoe with white paint? I mean spray paint is bad for the environment too, but if you compare it to a roundtrip 8000 miles of a private jet, you could probably justify the spray paint. Occasionally I can understand those that tell me with regularity that I am nuts to adore this guy. Clearly I am. Well, we're all nuts  I didn't get the impression that Adam had much to say about the boots getting flown over on a private jet though. I have a feeling this sort of stuff happens alot. But, I would also like to think that the boots weren't the only reason the plane was making the trip. As well as we've gotten to know that Adam repurposes and wears his clothes over and over does the fact that a shoe got a seat on a private jet really seem that it was Adam's idea? |

4. ADAM LAMBERT
Get this: Zero male American Idol contestants have a Grammy to their name. Nope, not even Kevin Covais. Adam Lambert earned a nomination for "Whataya Want From Me?" last year (and lost to Bruno Mars in the Best Male Pop Vocal Performance category), but if anyone deserves multiple Grammys from the past five seasons of Idol, it's Lambert. Surely his latest album Trespassing is his best work to date, and if you can't even earn a Grammy nomination for notching a #1 album as a self-defined gay artist with a distinct pop sound and an otherworldly voice, maybe it's time for Grammy voters to revise their rubric.
They make some excellent points... But they are also singing to the choir. |
