I think I remember Adam commenting later about this whole incident in an interview and it was Idol that wanted him to wear those boots and he really just wore what they told him to wear. So I think it was Idol that wanted to fly the boots here. My guess is that it would be Doc Martens that wanted to correct their mistake of sending two left boots...  The boots that were flown in were the ones he has in the opening number when they are all wearing white. |

Hi, Re the boots... I am confused... I thought it was the "Beth" and Kiss outfit/platform boots where the one was flown in??? If so, that would be more understandable since the boots were a major part of the outfit and for keeping up with the Kiss band in height/performance looks:-) Hope Adam is feeling better today, hugs... And, did Q3 ever do a recap of her concert experience? Those boots were Adam's own old boots. He told in an interview that Kiss were trying to talk him out of using them because they can be tricky to walk with. Adam said he responded that he has worn those many times at clubs and they have seen many a crazy nights, surely he has no problems walking with them and wants to use them. Yup, the boots in the KISS performance were Adam's own boots from his "club kid" days. Now that the designer would have an interest in this, I can see, yes. But the show itself? Nope, don't believe that story. While that does take Adam out of the equation, overall, between all the involved parties, this is still excessive. But I guess, we are still talking about it 4 years later, and those Doc Martens would not be talked about on this blog today without it. Oh well... And for clarification: the platform boots (KISS performance) Not = Doc Martens Boots. And as I learned earlier it also is not = ACIGC silver shoes. Where is Gelly when we need her. There is chaos without her. ======= Now talking about flashback moments. Is there anyone else here who, when they are reading those news flashes that Trespassing in China is coming with a certain folder, happens to be thinking of that 'special folder' that came in Hong Kong with the FYE CD?
