I listened to Adam and I had a clump in my throat, tears forming before the first phrase was finished... without having ever heard the song before, knowing none of the lyrics.... How does he do that? WHAT is this? (I listened to Rihanna's performance and although I can see it was an emotional my soul did not respond; I've listened to the best classical singers in the world, singing the most tragic areas and I can't remember crying...) Four years ....I am still searching for understanding... I know me too I'm reading your post and crying.. Adam's voice touches the soul |

ETA: Love the song and the Keek but I'd trade, Runnin, CLYG, or MAP for it anyday!

I LOVED the Grammy's this year.
I must admit I wasn't going to watch them, but was so glad I did. It did feel like the music was taking a different direction. More organic, funky, soulful, grassroots. Less electronic, over the top pop diva dance productions. More international, more grounded.
I thought Adam's keek was amazing. I didn't even recognize the song, and I just watched Rhianna kill that on TV.
I hope he writes or finds writers and bring this direction for him. It could be the key?
One of the great gifts of following Adam is discovering a love for music again, hearing about new artists.
I feel so inspired too!!

Hi, everyone. Late to wish you all a happy Chinese New Year. It is a tradition to eat Jiao Zi (Chinese dumpling) on New Years Eve/Day to wish for more fortune in the new year. Its shape is like 金元宝 (Jin Yuanbao) (ancient Chinese golden ingot ), a form of monetary currency in ancient China. I made some last night with carrots and lamb filling. |
