Artists famous enough for me to be aware of them seem to be doing extremely well according to the site Celebrity Net Worth. For example they estimate Drake's net worth at 25M and Rhianna's at 75m. Old icons are really rich as seen in Brian May's estimated 120M Net worth. They gave an estimate of 5M for Adam. So while record companies might get the lion's share of music sales, known artists seem to be doing very well indeed IMO.

I wonder if Adam was on the same plane with the crew? I'm excited for this 'non tour' tour to start and my sleep to be all messed up! lol  .... KOREA!!!!

Adam was mentioned in Brian's tweet when they left but that doesn't have to mean that he actually was there, Brian could have included him as a courtesy, he is the reason they are travelling after all. We'll might get a clue in the next hour or two if there will be 'airport tweets'. I think Adam has in his earlier trips to Asia left quite late and managed with the jet lag (this direction it is easier too) so it is quite possible that he is flying today. Maybe safer in general to get the band and equipment on their way earlier in case of any delays or misrouting and provide time for logistics at the destination. |
