I just now noticed that Sasha changed her twitter bio since I last checked ... she used to describe herself as "first looser" re SYTYCD .... I loved that :-) Now she says: Artist, politically incorrect, lover, dancer.. Madonna, Sytycd, Adam Lambert, Rihanna, Wayne Brady. forever pushin. makin moves. Student for life, always hungry focused
I really admire her ... superlatives included .. all of them ... |

My sister today asked me to sing at her daughter's wedding. She sent me a recording of the song. Pretty song. Pretty voiced singer. But, it really bugged me that she broke up lyrical and melodic phrases to take a breath. That interfered with the meaning and emotions of the piece. Before I became an Adam superfan, I don't know that I would have noticed her phrasing or how intrusive those breaths were. Listening to how Adam sings lyrical and melodic lines has taught me so many things. As I practice this song for the wedding, I will think "How would Adam sing this? Where would he breathe, pause, stretch out a phrase, crescendo, bring it back down? What is the arc of the song? What story does it tell?" Adam has made me a better singer. Just another thing to be grateful for with Adam.

Just checked and reconfirmed why I don't do twitter .... you guys are much to fast for me, I can't follow the topics ... I feel like I am 90. But still ... gelly et al ... please take mercy on us now and then and reconnect ... we miss you ... regardles of mood and angsting ... you know the fandom is wider than that!!!!
