Adam werks the tunic because Adam believes in the tunic! If it's cold outside and you need something to keep you warm - this is it! If you want people from Eastern Europe to come up to you and translate the words you're wearing, this is how you should be clothed! This is a big, comfy sweatshirt that extends to my ankles. Cool zippers on each side, framed in leather. Yep. I can't read the language; but I wore my 'tunic' to a party a couple of weeks ago, and learned that the messages are about connection and love. No surprise, as it is something that found a meaning with Adam! I'll just imagine that he's naked underneath it.....maybe that will make me like it more .

Ever since Chris Daughtry got a six-pack, I've been wondering how Adam would look like with one. I faint over his body now, I would probably keel over dead.

All kidding aside -- I think the tunic looked great on TV but not so good as streetwear for Adam. The "brown overall thingy" hopefully did not make Adam's closet!! Ah, you guys . . It really is a monk's cloak, in 'real time'. Kinda funny that Adam's seen as better clothed in performance than in real life. Because, of course, it's meant to be worn by you or me. I'm wearing my tunic! Everywhere I go it draws attention - which means I have to choose when I put this thing on. It's warm and it's shielding, in its way. I can be free to talk; or I'll leave the cyrillic to speak the language of my muse. Adam wears it like a saint. It becomes him. Just my opinion. Someone knew what they were doing, when they wanted to be sure he was warm. Well I am glad he kept warm.

I love Adam, and even though the first time I ever saw the snuggie I almost slit my wrists, now I love it because it is another great manifestation of Adam's chutzpah, and I especially love momtomany in the snuggie. That is all. Have a good concert, Adam, and see you in the morning.

Adam knows now that the poncho was not a good look - he said so himself - called it a huge fashion mistake or something like that. Wonder if he thinks this tunic is a good look. Kinda makes him look like a munchkin who could tip right over. His wonderful long legs are hidden with only the feet showing so the scale looks all wrong. *burn it up or bury it deep* As someone said upthread, maybe this IS the reason Sauli was not with him. Now I see this outfit being worn by one of the Queen's guards in Alice in Wonderland. I do like the jumpsuit though. I read it had lights on it that would blink in time to music. I wonder if he had that feature turned on. That would be a bit much. [img width="54" alt=" " src=" " height="47"]

On the tunic - I loved it from the get go, because it is so "Adam" - and now even more so after reading your post, momtomany.
There used to be this wonderfully funky place in West Hollywood on Melrose called The Bodhi Tree Bookstore which was in business for over 40 years and dealt with all things spiritual, metaphysical, health, you name it - bringing together all different thoughts and traditions from different spiritual ways of thinking. My son and I used to spend time there poking through all the nooks and crannies of this fascinating place. The Bodhi Tree Bookstore closed its doors in 2011 - a sad day for many when that happened - but it looks like they may reopen in a new space, still in WeHo/Hollywood hopefully in the fall of 2013.
This bookstore had a major influence in Shirley MacLaine's spiritual journey, and others such as Jerry Brown and the Beatles also have visited the store. I sometimes wonder if back in the day before Adam became well known that he too spent time there. Because Adam is a special spiritual person, I'm sure he knew about this place, and who knows, maybe during a time when my son and I were there, maybe an "unknown" Adam was poking around the shelves as well.
On Adam's choice of clothing - for my thinking, he can wear whatever he wants - even that much maligned poncho, because it belonged to his special friend. And I really do like the tunic.
