testing..lost my whole post again. timed out --simlar to yesterday --very frustrating.

Since this has not been mentioned yet, Adam's chest hair gets this look from shaving, then letting it grow out a bit. I know this because my son shaves his chest, and when it starts growing out it looks like this. twitpic.com/3zji1g/full this is the really big pic posted earlier for those who must explore this concept. No, actually, there are tools for man grooming that just trim the chest hair like this. You don't have to shave it completely. If your son doesn't have one, tell him about it because the stubble from growing out must be itchy.  There is also a shaver that gives men that one day's growth look, for their face, that so many find sexy (me, me!) 'Bout time the men got special tools for man grooming! |

I am recovering from my disappointment, and I know in the long run Adam will prevail. But, honestly, should someone who strains on the high notes win Best Vocal over someone who doesn't? Someone whose voice always pours out effortlessly, sweet and pure and golden, like honey from a jar? The Grammys are supposed to be about quality, not big sales. #AdamShouldaWon.
But it's water under the bridge now. I am thrilled that Adam was nominated and thrilled that he had this wonderful experience. I'm sure that last year, when he attended the Grammys as a fashion correspondent for ET, he hardly dared to dream that the following year he would be attending as a nominated artist. And he wasn't nominated because he died, or because he had a song that sold too many copies to ignore, or because he's a habit that the Grammy voters can't seem to break. He was nominated because he delivered a stunning vocal performance. And I believe that the best is yet to come!

I loved your post too, Buder!
This past week was so great! I loved all his appearances, performance, looks and every word he said! And being here makes it even more fun! I feel bad about not thanking Q3 sooner for taking such good care of us-so big thank you!
I don't mean to say anything negative but I think it's funny that one site gave him a B+. I mean how could he look any more perfect! The Hawaii pics were cute too.

Adam recently went out on the town with his hot boyfriend Sauli Koskinen and spilled the beans on his relationship to Ellen. He also participated in the It Gets Better campaign. He seems too perfect to be true! So, no comments about how he was robbed for the award. Guess the press doesn't really care about the performance, just the fashion. He is definitely winning notice in THAT department.

No one loves or respects Adam's talent more than I do. (Although I agree that many are tied with me.) However, I think some perspective is needed... It seems far too easy to go looking for things to get upset over than to seek out and focus on things to be joyful about. Not saying here, just in general. Perceived slights are usually just that- a flaw in perception. Adam is in a perfect position right now- not once last week did I see a headline proclaiming "openly gay singer"- I saw "Grammy nominated." I don't even recall hearing "American Idol" mentioned along side his name. Clive mentioned him by name. RCA is glowing with pride. Adam has a clear vision of what he wants to do on Adam2 and the validation of a Grammy nom and chart success to spur other writers to want in on a collaboration. He has time to write and fully inhabit a song before recording it, and this is where he shines. At this moment in Adam's career finding things to crab about is to me like sitting on the edge of the Grand Canyon taking in a world class view and being upset that you got your shoe dirty on the way up. It is beautiful so just sit back and enjoy it :D So well said... perfect in every way..the view sure is gorgeous. |
