Okay I'm almost over the disappointment of Adam not winning that Grammy. Although, when you all say "His time will come", I must admit to some apprehension.....look at all the MAJOR music icons who have never won a Grammy. I wanted this one...NOW (for insurance. ) AND since I'm still in a wishful mood. I want Adam to have a performance on a major award show which literally blows peoples minds. Anyone who doesn't stan him like us might still have that godawful vocal from the AMA's trapped in their heads. Not talking about the stage antics...but the vocal. We can harp about him having the best voice out there...but I won't be happy until he has another "moment" on a vast scale - not the Ellen show or whatnot. *sighs* On a happy note: I just received a gorgeous bouquet of roses and chocolates from my "almost Adam" SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE!!!

Happy Valentine's Day to all of you. Maybe we can get some things accomplished now in RL. Stanning is exhausting, but a good thing. I'm just struggling today. I too will moving to a new state and need to prepare my home for sale and find a new one. Also had a laptop stored in a closet fall on my foot and I have an exceedingly bruised foot and two broken toes. Hobbling a lot. I will remain optimistic. I like the leather concept. We will get nothing short of excellent. We will look forward to every tweet and any sighting. How many times has Meryl Street been nominated for an Oscar for unbelievably memorable performances and lost out to other performers. But she still get great movies and does her job exceedingly well. Adam was born to do this. (mantra, mantra keep saying it) Aww Smokeyvera so sorry to hear about your hurt foot! Just make sure you get those broken toes taped because I didn't have my broken toe taped and it healed with such a big bump I had to have it shaved down! And good luck on selling your home and your move!

Since this has not been mentioned yet, Adam's chest hair gets this look from shaving, then letting it grow out a bit. I know this because my son shaves his chest, and when it starts growing out it looks like this. twitpic.com/3zji1g/full this is the really big pic posted earlier for those who must explore this concept. No, actually, there are tools for man grooming that just trim the chest hair like this. You don't have to shave it completely. If your son doesn't have one, tell him about it because the stubble from growing out must be itchy. There is also a shaver that gives men that one day's growth look, for their face, that so many find sexy (me, me!) 'Bout time the men got special tools for man grooming! mys*&@^#r its funny, my son 18, actually told me last week to go and buy one of these and i didnt know how to describe it.But i found it and its great there are tools on it that give you many options, two days shave, 4 days shave etc. I love that look, too!!!Silly me and i always wondered how the heck these stars are having the one's day look every day? :

(Tiny humanoid wearing over-sized plumed hat materializes and bows deeply.)
Greetings dear Adamtopians,
It has been so long since my last visit I fear many of you have forgotten me -- so long, in fact, that we have a new home (I followed the breadcrumbs left by the regal Q3 and my beloved Angelkrash) and many new Adamtopians. Yikes! (Dodges newbies zooming around on razors.) I meant to join you last night but I started a champagne celebration too soon and my Fabricant friends restrained me when I tried to "borrow" a spacecraft. Which was wise, as its doubtful a 1950s saucer would have survived a trip through a wormhole.
My first reaction last night was rather Homeric: "Sing, goddess, of the rage of Glamberts!" But now that I'm sober, I'm feeling a bit more sanguine about the Grammys. I have a few thoughts:
* This is not a zero-sum game. There are enough goodies for all and Adam will have his share. He is too talented to ignore, despite the occasional imbecility of proliferating awards shows. When he wins his first Grammy, I hope it will be for a song he wrote and produced, giving naysayers absolutely no traction. * This is about Adam, not me. It is his gift, his career and I will refrain from trying to dictate or second guess his decisions. * Adam is "The Voice" of his generation and, possibly, others to follow. This is not just about a glorious sounding instrument and impeccable technique; it's about taste, deep musical knowledge, genre spanning facility. He will influence other singers, who will try to emulate him, most will fail. One need only look at the operatic stage to know how rare some voices are. Add to this all of Adam's other gifts and we should be grateful to be here now to experience his rare talent.
Alas, my dears, I must return to Planet Real Life. I am in a borrowed space craft -- the Fabricants are building me a new ship, but it is taking longer than expected, my last craft having been more damaged than we realized. I do miss you: Angelkrash, Seoulmate, Hoppers, Aloha, all you beautiful Adamtopians. The next time you see me I hope to be in my brand new little space craft. Happy Valentine's Day. Au revoir, mes amis.
(Performs graceful reverence, turns to go, reaches back and grabs handful of miniature champagne lollys, dematerializes.)

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY, ADAMTOPIANS! I LOVE OPENLY-GRAMMY-NOMINATED ADAM FUCKING LAMBERT! I LOVE ALL OF YOU KINDRED SPIRITS--SMART, FUNNY FRIENDS! Our obsession began with our first individual reactions to this amazing artist and evolved human being...and led to this special community of appreciation, where a MERE two years later, we celebrated Adam's first Grammy nomination! I'm going to have to take a semi-sabbatical at this juncture to better deal with RL. While Adam is working hard on album #2 (get crackin', bb ;D), I'm going to work harder on my life. It's going to be so hard to break the compulsion to read every single post, every single day...so don't judge me if I relapse a bit. I'm definitely as addicted to all of you at least as much as I am to AFL! But thanks to Q3's p.1 and Tinafea's RoundUps, I'll get my joy fix. I will also check pm's, so send me an alert--PLEASE--in the event of !BreakingNews! In honor of my feelings about self-imposed rehab and V Day, here are two My Funny Valentines! Love you guys!
