A little in the shallow end, BUT...are those new pants in the pic above? Can't tell if that's a zipper or not either.

IMO, there were a few good performances. Muse was one of them. I saw you yesterday talking about Mick also. Is there anyone else i should search for??? Personally, I thought Mumford & Sons followed by the Avett Brothers was the highlight of the show. I even enjoyed Bob Dylan as a part of the three-pack the Grammys offered. Mumford and Sons definitely got a boost from last night. I noticed their album was atop Itunes and Amazon after the show last night.

Preliminary Nielsen figures Monday show the CBS broadcast attracted 26.6 million viewers, improving on year's robust audience by 680,000 viewers.
"The 53rd Annual Grammy Awards" was also up by 3 percent in households over last year's broadcast, and dominated its network rivals on Sunday. Well those are great ratings -- particularly since Network ratings are down about 9% overall vs. last year. Not close to the Grammys in the mid 80's but this is just the overnights (major markets). Final number will be higher. Puts the power of the Idol platform into perspective. It is almost as big as the Grammys and on 2x a week for weeks on end!

I'm going to have to take a semi-sabbatical at this juncture to better deal with RL. While Adam is working hard on album #2 (get crackin', bb ;D), I'm going to work harder on my life. It's going to be so hard to break the compulsion to read every single post, every single day...so don't judge me if I relapse a bit. I'm definitely as addicted to all of you at least as much as I am to AFL! Ha! Good luck with that! My exact words January 1st -- been in relapse ever since. But I have tried to limit myself to the salon and weight loss thread. This way I can read the daily news and still interact with folks (but in less time consuming way). But I always end up back over here because I miss you guys.
