We lament all the Adam-bashing that goes on in the media and in comment sections of articles and YTs, but Adam is far from alone on that phenomenon. It seems that bashing celebrities is the favorite American pastime. This is an interesting article on The Culture of Mean

Hi maddie! General access normal sold out and VIP almost sold out. Best normal priced seats sold out, but VIP still left. There are still 2 quite good areas, that have tickets available (released much later that the intial sales), otherwise mostly scattered indivial seats left. I would say that less than 1000 tickets left out of 12000. Out of curiosity I counted. App. 770 tickets left now and over one month to go. Not bad!!
I think Helsinki concert will be awesome!!

This is excellent!!!! I have to admit I've attempted the same exercise for the Moscow venue, but then realized that I might've not been looking at a centralized database and they might've distributed separate chunks of seats to different agencies....if anyone from our Russian residents know how it works - let me know and I'll do the count.

www.ok.co.uk/celebrity-news/view/59563/Adam-Lambert-cancels-Philippines-gig/Adam Lambert cancels Philippines gigMonday 18 Feb 2013
Pop star ADAM LAMBERT has axed an upcoming gig in Philippines due to "unforeseen circumstances". The former American Idol contestant was due to perform at the Skydome venue in the capital city of Manila on 1 March (13), but he has now cancelled the show and fans are being offered refunds. A statement from SM Tickets, the promoters behind Lambert's show, reads, "Please be informed that due to unforeseen circumstances, (the) Adam Lambert concert on March 1, 2013 at... Skydome is cancelled." No further details about the reason for cancellation were available as WENN went to press. Lambert previously performed in the country in 2010.

I've been thinking about all the press coverage for cover songs. I think it works something along these lines: Singer sings own material - not news - besides could seem as though one is a "fan" rather than an objective " entertainment news source" if one talked up singer singing own songs Singer sings someone else's song - news! - and can be a great excuse to talk about a singer and post vids without seeming too fan-ish So I guess it is always a good idea to work up new cover songs now and again. peace and love

Nice to have a day off so I've watched most of the vid's from yesterday
Bummer about Manila thou,,sadz
But what I wanted to post
I watched the full concert
My opinion...
Why enter with a big bombastic note....seems a waste since there is so much screaming no one can appreciate the vocals....Why not make a fab posing entrance and then when the fans calm down, belt it out oh well
The only thing that bothered me or seemed a little scattered was the 2nd intermission or wardrobe change
The band/singers played Kickin in.,, It looked to me like the dancers were creating steps at the moment. Trust me I love S*&@^# and actually Johnny has nice lyrical/lythe lines but I think the choreography needs some work.
But KICK IN is a song to me that the audience should participate in just like Queen "Another One Bites the Dust" How Adam had the audience repeating chords/sounds, etc. Same could be for Kick in especially when he says "ARE YOU FEELING IT" I think this song is a great high impact audience chorus so to speak.
Hearing the two girls sing it didn't have the same impact. I love dancing to this song in my car seat - always gets me going before work.
SO for an intermission just like when he did FYE, there was the band kick in. I think I'd prefer that but that's just my opinion.
Either way, I WANT A CONCERT HERE!!!!
