If you haven't heard it, Adam Lambert's cover of Rihanna's stay is stunning. What a talent and a nice guy. Always responsive to DMs and up for conversation. Watch it. question: so what happens in the case like this, where it is not artist's "fault" - is Adam getting paid by an insurance co? Well, if Adam had already signed the agreement then he would've most likely gotten paid for a portion of advance guarantees, but I'm not sure if in this case he would get to keep the advance, I guess that would certainly be one of the clauses in the agreement. I expect Q3 should have more knowledge about the standard contract in this scenario, also if Adam is entitled to some other compensations in case of cancellation IF the cancellation was only initiated by the promoter; but IF it was a mutual decision to cancel the concert, then I imagine it would fall under a different clause.... #just_thinking_out_loud_here#  |

Quoting myself from yesterday's thread: The most screwed up concert on this little tour is Sky Dome, Philippines. It went from a stadium to a 1500 seat venue, and 3 different promoters... the politics of the Philippines touring market is notorious. Some Chinese tour promoters even suspected awhile back there might not be a concert there. Breaking news: Adam Lambert's Trespassing World Tour in Manila concert has been cancelled.
This whole Philippines concert thing was a big screw up! Feel bad for the fans...#lesigh |

Well, I just opened up the twitter feed for the Japan shows and since I don't speak Japanese, I was like this:  I think it's time for bed -- I just spent the whole day writing a final paper for my Intro to Mental Health Counseling class and my brain is fried like this:  Sigh. I can't wait for more videos! That version of Stay was just amazing...  Well, that was fun! If a bit random...LOL! I'm trying to learn from Seoulmate (how did I do, bb?) |

And you too bb  *blows kiss since "extra" smilies no longer seem to werk for moi* Q3 just a FYI - I'm using Safari on a Mac and the first window generic smilies in the reply box are fine - click on one and it inserts itself into my reply no problemo, but when I hit 'extra' smilies, the window with them comes up no problem, but when I actually click on any single one of these smileys inside of this box - nadda...zilch happens. I'm having to insert cursor, highlight and select individual smiley, and then copy/paste it back into reply window - with varying degrees of success - and sizes:( Hopefully this makes sense  |

revlisacat... you're doing GREAT with the gifs, bb!  You can take over the gif spamming cause I'm feeling fed up with photobucket. Everything just gets harder, instead of easier, and it's not supposed to be that way, dammit. When "big changes" and new format were announced on PB, I expected them to add functions, and for things to be faster and more efficient, but that didn't happen. It now takes more way more clicking to do things and it takes longer to find things, and they've taken away great functions that I've been using for the past three years... And a lot of things are harder now on ATOP, too. Including smileys ending up in strange places, and I'm finding it really hard/confusing to quote people sometimes, especially if I don't want to quote their entire post and re-post a lot of pictures, etc. It's all very exhausting.
