Energyradio just played Stay by Rihanna - no comparsion. Adam 100% SOmeone should tweet him Adam's version (I don't know how otherwise I would) I did that a couple of hours ago both videos of STAY. I didn't ask them to play it. should I? |

Anyway, I don't think Kelly needs anyone rushing to her defense. She has always been very vocal about her disdain for Clive and the other suits at RCA. When she was pushing hard for "My December", she publicly called them "old men" who don't know what kind of music people want to hear.
I think Clive and RCA were quite restrained and let her have her very public rant. Guess they figured it was all business anyway and she was a money maker for them.
So I imagine there's his side and her side and the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

Guys, this is totally off topic from Tokyo, but can anybody please point me to a downloadable version of "Map," preferably from Mediafire? I switched over to a new computer recently and in the process, lost some songs I had downloaded. Map is the only one I haven't been able to recover so far and I must, must, must get it back! Thanks! I usually don't read comments, but I did on this one. One person praised Adam for having lost weight..and when was he going to start acting. I'm not commenting on Adam's weight. I did see a picture of Boy George yesterday and he is tiny, absolutely tiny. Have men in the entertainment business always been so conscious of being thin? Like in super thin. Please do NOT misconstrue this as saying Adam is too thin. I have no idea. I'm only asking a question. Perhaps because I have never followed a male celebrity before. There seems to be a pervasive notion that..less is more...women entertainers have certainly gotten flack if perceived as 'too fat'..is it the same with men now??? Thanks!  I saw that too and my impression was that it was written by a non-fan who pretended to like Stay in order to get her P.A. comment in. I think Adam is just right weight-wise!!! And in every other way too. |

I actually commented on that a few days ago...after the snippet...and I hypothesized that it may be because the pronoun was used in conjunction with emotions rather than lust/sexuality. And the passage of time. And the original as sung by Rhianna uses 'he'.... I noticed the he/she when I listened to Anoop's version (which is pretty good btw) and he sings she... I just listened to Anoop's version and I thought it was really, really good. I then did a phrase to phrase comparison with Adam's version, and boy....what a difference. Adam's voice...smooth as silk....haunting....so beautiful. This is why I'm such a nut case for him. This is why after four years, I'm even more devoted to him and his music.  |

I've always thought Anoop was pretty good. His rendition of Stay is decent. I subscribed to his feed just for the heck of it -- see what else he publishes. Besides, my hubby is a big fan of Maker's Mark. They have, in fact, reversed their decision to lower the alcohol content. Seriously. LOL.
