Shanghai Concert Near, "Lord Dang"'s Got A "Headache"! It starts off talking about how excited the Chinese fans are about the upcoming concert in Shanghai, and knowing how tight Adam's tour schedule is and the chances of organizing any fanfares is probably gonna be out of the question, therefore they have put a lot of thought and effort (including considerable financial resources) into making Adam some fantastic memorable gifts. They are hoping these gifts (I'm not translating the descriptions of the specific items listed in the article, for now, I think they're meant to be a surprise  ), which unique in their Chinese characteristics and particularly with a fine touch of local cultural flare, would help convey their love for Adam that words cannot express, and also help Adam have a better understanding of their wonderful city, Shanghai! Adam seems very confident and looking forward to the Shanghai concert, and was quoted saying "Although China is a non-English speaking country, the fans here are so enthusiastic and engaged that the interaction has been just wonderful, music is truly a universal language, besides, most of my fans understand English well and know exactly what I'm saying. " It's no secret that Shanghai has a special place in Adam's heart (after Helsinki, of course! --- translator notes), he was quoted to have said several times that he liked the city very much, and had been working really hard to give his Chinese fans a night to remember, and there might even be some surprises in store, too! Aside from his busy touring activities, Adam has added another task, or more like "headache", for himself --- learning Chinese! He has been working at it for some time, even hired a tutor, but Chinese is just too difficult to learn so it looks like speaking Chinese might be the biggest challenge for Adam on stage. But, it would be so much fun and heartwarming to hear "Lord Dang" greeting his fans in his imperfect and awkward Chinese, maybe even humming a few lines of a Chinese song. Translator (maddie) notes: I'm curious if he's learning Mandarin or the local dialect, if it's the latter then I wouldn't know what he's saying at all!  |

it's so great when an artist is will to take a unique picture with a fan and not just the standard smiling one. Adam's face in the pic with the girl on his leg is so funny.
Kelly Clarkson is known for taking goofy/funny pictures with her fans and she actually has one from a fan in Australia where the girl is humping her leg and Kelly looks like she's trying to run away LOL...
The uber fan looks like a teenager so her OTT room is great IMO. That's how teenagers should be. if I were a teen I'd have my room papered with Adam pictures too.

OK! I DID IT!!!!!! "What did she do," you ask?! I figured out about how much Adam is making from these concerts. You know what is really, really cool about doing this? The big venues in eastern EU had seating charts that show how many seats are still available! I am here to tell you guys, that sports arena in St Petersburg only has less than 1,000 seats left! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Also, I was going to just estimate the tickets prices and say $45 was a good average. WRONG!!! These concerts are selling for much, much higher. I figured out an average price for each venue. It ranges from $50 in Indonesia to $100 in St Pete. Most averaged around $80. Sooooooooooo, the shows had a gross of around $6,225,000. I used the Billboard figure of 34% that goes to the artist, after manager, promoter fees, and costs are deducted from the gross. Sooooooooooooooooooooo, "ta, da!" Adam is making about $2,116,500. (If those big venues completely sellout, add around another 75K to this for Adam  $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$  |

I get a feeling that some folks project too much of themselves into Adam and his doings, sometimes, a song is just a song and Adam sings a song is just.... It ain't that deep, as the man would say himself! And, Adam did try nipple piercing a while back but admitted later "it's not all it's cracked up to be"; he said no body piercings right now, then why in the world would I think otherwise, considering this was the same man who had admitted threesome to a foreign gay media?? Adam would have a big smug grin and laugh his ass off reading all our "musings" and "concerns"...  |
