you FUCKERS ,you get me into SO much trouble!!!!!!!!!!! got a call from the bairn this P.M ,saying she was coming home, for the w/e, the first thing she does if there is no,one in is jump straight onto my desktop,and she was going to be in before i got home from work i had to cancel appts and break speed limits to get home first ,thank fuck i made it!! cos guess what i googled the other day? YES ,the day you guys had the disscussion about DICKS AND PEIRCINGS and there was lots of fascinating info!!! she already thinks i have certain insanity probs after i (unknowingly) used her itunes account when we were gifting she doesnt need to think her mother has now developed a fetish for peirced dicks I know it's early, but I nominate this for Post of the Year. HA! Agree! Lilly, you should have heeded the advice to remember to clear your browser history. And, what is your bairn? Your child, I guess? I learn so much stuff here! |

Interview from the red carpet at the WAFF event in NY. I have seen a similar video, but I don't think this one has been posted. Adam can be seen briefly in the video at two different times and then at around 2:40 starts his part of the interview.
I have no clue who these other people are that are being interviewed. Obviously, some folks with money who could make those 10K bids during the auction.

Otherwise, slightly crunched for time and not able to post a ton, but just want to say thank you for all who are bringing pics and vids from Tokyo 3. To be honest, listening to 'stay' and then 'underneath' just made me cry my eyes out yesterday, that is how strong Adam's performance was. Underneath was intense, there was something specific that Adam was thinking and singing about there. Was it all our discussions here and on twitter?
This fandom is such a strange thing. On one hand we are holding and making his career and yet sometimes we may inadvertently hurt him or annoy him or just make him sad or something. And often he cannot really tell us, except through his singing, and I think he sure did that yesterday.
When he sang those lines 'Everybody wants to talk about a freakNo one wants to dig that deep', I was floored. Sure he loves his fans, but do we also hurt him? Where are the lines, where we might think it is amusing, and yet he feels just used as freakish entertainment, even though that is totally not our intent.
I don't have the answers either. I have made some critical remarks, thought they were well placed or accurate, but what do I know how they are perceived - underneath. Is it sick or is it healthy what is going on in this fandom and how come I sometimes sense that it is both at the same time?
Now I've got tears in my eyes again....sometimes things just hurt, because they are true.

I know it's early, but I nominate this for Post of the Year. I second the nomination! As a mod, I read the first sentence and thought, "Damn! We've got a troll spamming the thread." Reading on, I was beside myself with laughter. This one tops Mayumi's story about accidentally saving a hot pic of Adam (on his hands and knees during GNT) on her priest's laptop. Thanks, lily!
