I do not know if Adam really "loves" this game but it is a mega property --- over $100 million in sales in the first year, and millions of players. MMORPG games are big in North America and Europe -- but bigger in Asia.

"Even though free to play MMORPGs / MMOs are getting more and more popular in North America and Europe, they’re still nothing compared to the size of the industry in China. In fact, Chinese gamers spent a whopping $5 billion in 2009 on MMORPGs while Americans only spent $3.8 billion. A big chunk of that $3.8 billion spent in the United States comes from subscription based games like World of Warcraft, Eve Online and Warhammer Online. If you take out subscription based games from the equation, American gamers spent around $1.9 billion on free to play games. On the other hand, practically all of the $5 billion spent in China on MMORPGs comes from free to play micro-transaction based games. Free to play games are much more successful in China because the average purchase hovers in the $1-2 range, which is much more affordable when you have a thin wallet."

The details of this deal were not revealed but I hope Adam has some upside if RIFT becomes the next WOW in China.

Sauli was telling about his new TV show, which he will begin to film in LA in the beginning of April. He will leave back to LA at the end of March after he has seen a certain concert at Hartwall Arena in Helsinki.

This is OT, but a commentary on the state of the music and touring business

Yah! for ALL the good things coming his way. His new lifestyle show would be a real confidence booster for a young person. He obviously has Finnish media people in his corner with his recent Elle award, hosting the fashion gig etc. It does take time to develop and approve a tv program. So much work..guess he was busier than I thought!!! Building more than muscles on this side of the Atlantic. I keep trying to visualize if he will have a set he is working from or is it a roving concept like the Tutka roadshows. He can't very well do his cooking parts out out their condo...except for a one off, as Adam will be home in April and getting his new album in place.

I am super happy for Adam that he has his first endorsement deal...and imagine... it has nothing to do with eyeliner...Thank Gosh!!
I would have to think this was pretty organic and came from the company...versus Adam's people going after this, which if the case, makes me very happy to appreciate his perceived stature.

For a multi million dollar product I was hoping for a more lively Adam endorsement video...but the company has to know what they want it portrayed. Reminds me of merchandise Adam t-shirts and the creative minds on this site coming up with cooler versions of designs.

I pictured Adam not in a suit jacket holding the DVD in a static position....naa...no way....leather pants in a slouching blue leather cool chair...playing the game....turning his head and repeating his message at us as he plays the game.....and then flash to the Wade guy playing in his white slouch leather chair ...WHO beat who??? Whose top dog? Make one of the promos a little mini series. Music versus Bball war!
