NO! What other two???? I'll look for a link now! Dwayne Wade's!  Oh I thought you meant Adam recorded THREE - with the other two better than the first. And no, I didn't see the others. Assume they're no better than Adam's? |

Bought today's newspapers, just had a chance to read the article. And laugh in disbelief. I tend to agree with dancygeorgia, it's like a free ad.... I mean, really, the people who do or would go to pop concerts are unlikely to change their minds about going to Adam's concert because a network of churches have raised concerns about it promoting a gay lifestyle! The people who might be affected by the complaint... are those who wouldn't go near an Adam Lambert concert anyway. And as long as the business side of things work out well, he's NOT going to let this sort of thing affect anything.... this is downright humdrum for him by now. As for the concern about the venue being owned by the business arm of a church... according to the church, it will follow what the MDA (Media Development Authority) permits. And apparently the classification of his concert is still in progress. Oka-a-a-y.... For a comparison, Lady Gaga's concert last year (for which that same church group had complained how "she may have insulted Christians and promoted homosexuality") went through with the warnings "some mature content and coarse language" and having "some controversial religious content". I find it really hard to believe Adam's concert will be deemed more controversial than Lady Gaga's. (So I'm just sticking to being a nervous wreck that my hubby or I will be bored at the concert. :D) |

Jazzrocks - it was pretty lulzy but I didn't get the not caring part. I thought it was a segment shot with only one take and he tried his best to put some personality into it. Being the perfectionist he claims to be, it must have driven him crazy because there is no way he had any control over set or message. I wouldn't send it to directors for acting portfolios. Yes I'm sure he had little to no prep. The script was bad and the teleprompter was poorly placed. So not his fault really, but still,,,,, :D |

I hadn't seen it so I thought I would post it again. Also, I watched Nikita for a long time but Adam got in the way of my television viewing and Nikita was one of the programs which lost to Adam's charms, but I still thought MaggieQ was great.  Curious - why is her name in English and not Adam or Dewayne? Or are those their names? |

Hi guys! Thank YOU everybody, who sent thanks to Zinnia and me yesterday for our translations. It's nice to now that our work is appreciated.  Now that Sauli and Katri have started Tutkas again, we will translate those as well and post the translations in SC. Just remember that they are pretty timeconsuming to translate, so every episode is going to take a while. Just be patient, please!  |

Then again, I suspect that anyone who takes an endorsement for a product by a famous personality seriously won't be paying attention to the script in any case. Or am I being too cynical?  Oh, and on Adam's Mandarin.... hmmm. Maybe if he thinks of the language like learning a song (complete with pitches and notes) it'll go better. Mandarin does have a rather sing-song sound to it. Sort of. |

Now I want to see the other two vids...I thought for sure Adam's would be the worst.
His eyes are so beyond non professional filming...retakes anyone!!??!! Adam can memorize lines..I know it!
Once again we/me the cheerleader(s) want the best showcase for Adam! Atopers could have done it betterer! My example may not be that creative but the face time in the video lacked any semblance of creativity. For pity sake, great minds just produced that game! Marketing team... grade ...fail... in my books.
Hopefully there be other endorsement looks...on the bright side, the picture endorsement of the three is visually appealing!
I COMMENTED IN YESTERDAY'S THREAD... THE SAME PREMISE...my quote:
"I am super happy for Adam that he has his first endorsement deal...and imagine... it has nothing to do with eyeliner...Thank Gosh!!
I would have to think this deal was pretty organic and came from the company...versus Adam's people going after this, which if the case, makes me very happy to appreciate his perceived stature.
For a multi million dollar product I was hoping for a more lively Adam endorsement video...but the company has to know what they want portrayed. Reminds me of merchandise Adam t-shirts and the creative minds on this site coming up with cooler versions of designs.
I pictured Adam not in a suit jacket holding the DVD in a static position....naa...no way....leather pants in a slouching blue leather cool chair...playing the game....turning his head and repeating his message at us as he plays the game.....and then flash to the Wade guy playing in his white slouch leather chair ...WHO beat who??? Whose top dog? Make one of the promos a little mini series. Music versus Bball war!"

This was done for the gamers - may be it was supposed to be robotic? IDK... My "analysis" of the picture: if Dewayne (allegedly) was paid in 8 figures, then Adam and MQ were paid in (may be high) 7 figures... |
