This is just one of the things I love about this blog!!!! A simple tatoo and we are learning about the historical significance of the Latin words, "lusus naturae". Doctors all say to preserve and improve memory you should learn something new everyday and maintain social contacts. Now isn't that a good reason to check Adamtopia daily?-like I need a reason! Ha! Lovin' the concert pics. Can't wait for the vids. |

I see the tat as Adam reclaiming the word "freak" and making it a great thing, as in the expression, "Let your freak flag fly!" He's saying, "I'm different and proud of it!" It ain't nothin' but positive! I agree that it's meant to be very positive. I also think it's beautiful the way it sits right above his glove. I never really liked the placement of the infinity symbol and key because they seem to kind of float with no spatial relationship to anything else, although my guess is that eventually he'll have a whole sleeve that links them all together. But I love that he's going for very classical images and latin. It makes the whole tattoo thing seem like it's a journal of the journey that he's been on since Idol. Some of the stuff people put on themselves (coughTommyfrankensteincough) just seems stupid. |
