I loved listening to the opening of the show in the above video with good headphones with that driving beat and lazer lights. My excitement/energy level shot thru the roof. Even in this not so great vid, you can feel the energy in the venue. One of my favorite parts of the show is that 30 seconds before, then seeing him ascend his platform followed by hearing him belt out "So I got my boots on".

Looks like I need to wait a bit longer to make the Jakarta Recap, not enough vids yet.

First, I want to start by saying, I know nothing about Indonesia's politics. I could be way off the mark with my comment. No offense is intended.
Second, I wonder if the misinformation about the numbers of attendees at Adam's Jakarta concert is just propaganda of sorts to make him appear less attractive (desirable) to discourage future performances in Indonesia. Misinformation has great power if you can get people to believe the line you are feeding them. Just an idea.

I wonder if it drives cassie, holst and others crazy to keep seeing all of Adam's high notes being called falsetto. Not that I knew any better before reading the vocal masterclass thread (and only have a vague idea now), but for those in the know about vocal production, to keep seeing statements like " I was bracing myself for an over the top performance filled with lots of theatrics and screeching falsettos, but to my pleasant surprise, Lambert did not go overboard." must be exasperating to say the least. Or maybe they're used to it. Mixed feelings. They talked about his voice, not only his orientation and his guyliner. ;-| It's NOT falsetto. It is much more sophisticated, controlled, and accomplished than that. They pointed out his impressive vocal range. >:D Adam NEVER screeches. Never has. Danny Gokey screeched in Dream On. James Durbin screeches. Adam SINGS those stratosheric high notes with strength, definition, and pleasing harmonic resonance, not dissonance. ::)Overall, the articles are generally positive and complimentary. Anyone who knows enough to know it isn't falsetto only has to listen to Adam sing to realize how great he is. If the article prompts them to give him a listen, it's all good. Wonder what Adam thinks when he reads it.

ON A DIFFERENT TOPIC I am listening to Energy Music - I heard him announcing a magazine w Adam pics, etc and profit Cindy Lauper benefit. He gave a website (I think) adamlambertaura.wordpress.com I tried that link, not working anyone know about this? This was discussed a couple of weeks ago on the thread. I don't remember the details or the date, but this is a fanzine promoted or created or collaborated on by the ladies Xena and Juneau, whose previous efforts at marketing their passion for Adam have produced more than a few eye-rolls and ethical questions from some Adam fans. Some of the promotion for this magazine seemed deceptive to me, implying Adam's involvement and approval? Maybe others can point you to the right location for this previous discussion.
