Adam had a little runway at Queen concerts and used it all the time. I think the runway idea is a great idea for Adam. I do think the venues provide such things if the entertainer asks for them. I remember Adam's concert in Hollywood FL where the venue had no big screens to watch Adam. The balcony seemed to be miles away from the stage and Adam looked like a little person all night. I was really mad they didn't have the big screens and asked an usher why. He said the entertainer had to request them or they did not put them up. This could have been the truth or it could NOT have been the truth. I don't know for sure. Anyone out there know the process? I was there with my DH and daughter.. It was really hard to see Adam.. you are sooo right they needed big screens. |

Why Adam would have used them at all other venues and not that one is beyond me. I remeber the people at that concert being not very happy though with the set up. |

It would be great - but I'm completely clueless about how viable it would be. Would he have to ship around the required parts and labour to set it up himself, or trust the venue management at each location to do it safely and reliably for him? I don't know either but I was thinking the venues might have the runways available for artist who would like to use them. But I really have no idea. Locals do these all the time according to specifications (measurements, material standards etc). There are companies for that, importing stuff if not found locally. The venue usually has only the basics and everything else is rented. The performer wants to use technique that they are familiar with and negotiations include that too, the tech riders are very detailed and the organizer has to make it happen to mutually agreed extent before contract is signed. ETA That's how decisions are made on what they can get (easily, reasonable cost) locally and what they need/want to bring themselves. Imagine emails (and faxes earlier in time) of 20-40 pages listing it all. |

AARGH!!!! Oh, JanuarySnow, I'm so sorry for both you and your son!!! Know that the hearts of Adamtopia go out to the two of you!! May this bout of chickenpox be mild and over quickly - - by then there will be videos and recordings of more performances . . . and, we just know that Adam will come back to Russia again!
