Sorry to post and run... Just a quick comment on OOL in an anti-gay environment.... is there anything explicitly stated in the lyrics that indicate it refers specifically to the LGBT community? I mean, I know that's sorta who it's aimed at, but could it just as easily refer to Romeo and Juliet? Inter-racial/inter-religious relationships? Generalised hostility towards certain pairings of that sort?

Adam Lambert's "Trespassing" or "No Trespassing"
March 16, at the height of spring, in Moscow there was an earthquake. Feel it could only visitors to the concert hall Crocus City Hall, it is here where a concert of American singer Adam Lambert. Unfortunately, Lambert could not collect Crocus City Hall at 100% and, by and large, for his concert would suit club atmosphere Arena Moscow. But in spite of everything, Adam worked with his team to a concert all 200%. Before the concert, Adam met with his fans. This justifies the fact that the concert was delayed for half an hour - apparently the girl did not want to let go of the idol. And they were right, as soon as Lambert was on the stage in front of the Moscow fans with their hands and then grab a piece of the nars suit the singer. Despite this, Adam actively contact with the fans throughout the concert. Everything that happens on stage is hardly a concert. This action is most appropriate word "show", and the show in the most vivid and brilliant sense of the word. Backing vocals, which is the classical canons of the stage to stand in a corner and that, in principle, should not see concert goers, was put up for the first plan. And it's no wonder! Sirens called xxxx and xxxx not only have Vnymi vocal qualities, but also the outstanding forms. Girls during some songs even try on the role of backup dancers. At the time, two of the dancers, from time to time tried to steal Adam Lambert's microphone and sing a song for the Moscow public. Hall of the game fell to their liking. During the concert, Adam Lambert changed 4 suit, about the same and changed its back-vocalist. We were very pleased that what is happening on the stage revolved around one Adam Lambert. The artists present at the scene, whether it's musicians, singers and dancers, together constitute a single musical car, whose driver was Lambert. Heath, famed Adam Lambert What Do You Want from Me, Hall played in unison. By the way, the author of this song is the notorious singer P! Nk. In addition to its team of songs Lambert paid tribute to Michael Jackson, casual singing «Annie are you ok?» Of the hit «Smooth Criminal». Do not forget about the man and the group QUEEN, singing their song «Dragon Attack». In addition, another was performed a cover of the hit 80's 90's "Shout" of Tears for Fears and «Is This Love» (Bob Marley & The Wailers cover) Author: Love Tulik Photo: Galina Sultanov

I mean, I know that's sorta who it's aimed at, but could it just as easily refer to Romeo and Juliet? Inter-racial/inter-religious relationships? Generalised hostility towards certain pairings of that sort? Adam has explained what the song is about, and the title includes the not so subtle wordplay -- OUTlaws of Love. But the lyrics really require little interpretation. When Adam debuted this song he said, "All of the things I've been talking about over the past year, a lot of them boil down to acceptance. This is a song that I wrote about how it feels that no matter where you go or where you turn sometimes it feels like you are just running from the law."He was more direct in later interviews for example. The lyrics.... Outlaws of Love
Oh, nowhere left to go. Are we getting closer, closer? No, all we know is no. Nights are getting colder, colder. Hey.
Tears all fall the same. We all feel the rain We can't change.
Everywhere we go We're lookin' for the sun. Nowhere to grow old. And always on the run. They say we'll rot in hell But I don't think we will They've branded us enough Outlaws of love.
Scars make us who we are Hearts and homes are broken, broken. Far, we could go so far With our minds wide open, open. Hey
Tears all fall the same We all feel the rain We can't change.
Everywhere we go We're lookin' for the sun. Nowhere to grow old. And always on the run.
They say we'll rot in hell But I don't think we will They've branded us enough Outlaws of love. Outlaws of love. Outlaws of love. I found this beautiful interpretation of the lyrics online, written by "anonymous", posted Apr 16th 2012, 23:16
He went on to talk about the song on several occasions -- but in his introduction to OOL at the Maryland Equality event was a strongly political statement, he spoke directly about Proposition 6. Then proceeded to do one of my fav versions of this song.
