I just have to tell you, I went to Mayumi's husband wake yesterday and funeral today. Now mind you this is in a Catholic church, and when family got up and gave an eulogy, both a nephew and his brother mentioned Adam Lambert twice. Those of us Adam fans who were there, looked at each and smiled. Rene, Mayumi's husband, was a big fan and traveled to many a concert with her, and was just a big a fan as Mayumi. All of his family cherished their father, brother, uncle dearly and embraced his love of Adam. What a family!!!! Thank you for the update, smokey. Not meaning to put any pressure on anyone, but, if you want to make a contribution in Rene's honor, we have set up a charity:water campaign. You can also include a message to Mayumi and family there. Go to www.mycharitywater.org/rene-light-and-loveTo view the obituary and just write your condolences, go here: www.billheadfuneralhome.com/obits/obituary.php?id=280172I apologize for the OT post, but, Mayumi and Rene were big ATop and Adam supporters, as smokey mentioned. It seems fitting to let AToppers know how to reach out to the family. ETA: Susan has been too engulfed in RL to check in on ATop recently. I did let her know that y'all sent her special posts of light and love on Monday, and when things calm down, she should check it out. She thanks everyone here for their kindness.

Just getting back to my desk and finding Alex all worried and freaked out about yesterday and reading all kinds of posts about this: First of all, Alex, a big to you, honey. Everybody is allowed an opinion, and occasionally something like a video or a certain sentence rubs us the wrong way, whether that is actually justified or not. Nobody is worried. It was a spontaneous comment from you and everybody including me loves to hear your opinion, even if at times we go huh? and have a different one and then say so. I was not concerned about what you wrote at all, just felt differently than you and Kay did. Just wrote my own opinion in response to a whole group of posts over two pages that were without exception critical of that video. While that was going on, meanwhile others pointed out that this was old stuff, and that makes it all a little less important and hardly relevant. It's all no big deal from my side, but it seems like a big deal to you, so hope you feel that all is better now. I love your posts, most of them are spot on and I know you love Adam like anyone. Usually its those that don't have a BSC perspective here, that are on the defensive, here. This is a fan site, no need to defend why you want to defend our guy. It's all in love. It's allowed to sometimes see things differently, girl. Nothing wrong with that. Muah

Q3, watch the short video above! ETA It has been posted also earlier when they published the nominations. The category is 'Most popular & influential international artist in China' and other nominees are Keisha, Taylor Swift and PSY. [/quote] [smiles ruefully] Oh man, I dunno. I'd give Adam a real good chance againsy Kesha and Swifty. But PSY?? I guessing Mr. "Gangam Style" will probably take the award itself. That said, Adam will most likely SLAY in the live singing during the award ceremony so yay!

I don't want to get my hopes too high for Adam winning that award, but: Milkyway2580 @Milkyway2580 @glam_alidol Does that mean very strong possibility that Adam win the award, you think??
She is the person who coordinated so much with the Chinese fans during his WAG concerts. I think she would have a pretty good idea about it. Anyway, as I said before, just the nomination is huge!

Grrrr. Can't get into edit mode while on my phone. Totally messed up my other posts.
Even with my admittedly limited knowledge of the Chinese music scene, I'd totally think that Adam had a damn good chance against the other Americans listed for nominations.
Just have a hard time making myself believe he'd win over the international steamroller that is PSY (from Korea) for the award itself.
[grins] Crossing my fingers tho!
