Here is the current placement for Trespassing on Amazon China BestSellers Overall: Trespassing had been consistently in the top 50 since early Feb when first put up for pre-order, and it is ranked #16 in the Best Sellers of 2013 So Far (1/1/13---3/31/13). There are only 3 western singers within the top 30 on that list: Taylor Swift (#8), Adam (#16) and Adele (#21).

Just like here in the US, the Amazon shoppers aren't necessarily the barometer of popularity, especially when it comes to pop, besides her album is out longer on Amazon China than Trespassing. I don't think Taylor even has an official weibo account, yet, Adam, on the other hand, has become a practically household name in China during the past 6 months, thanks to all the high-profile performances, appearances and interviews. Just my hunch, I believe he will win!

There are currently 3,962,197 likes on Adam's official Facebook page, based on socialbakers' growth tracking data, which is 46,631 per month, he should hit the 4 mil mark by the end of the month.

AVRIL SHOWERS: "Here's to Never Growing Up," the debut single from Avril Lavigne's first Epic album, premiered on Ryan Seacrest's Clear Channel radio show this morning, with an exclusive interview, and goes out wide today. The song was co-written by Lavigne with fiance Chad Kroeger along with Dave Hodges, Martin John and J Kash. The label had kicked off the campaign with a call for fans to submit photos and videos via Facebook for her lyric video. According to the company who developed the Facebook app, the response outperformed the ones it created for One Direction and Justin Bieber. The clip (below) premieres on VEVO today, with the single available on iTunes. source: www.hitsdailydouble.com/news/rumormill.cgiBTW, Avril is also hugely popular in China, as a matter of fact, she's the only western singer, male or female, has ever had concerts in multiple cities in mainland China, other than the typical Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong back in the early 2000's, from what I can reckon.
