Adam, who is believed to have actually originated on Planet Fierce, has been a resident of California since he was 1 year old. (Did you really believe he was from Indianapolis?!?! Seriously? In any case, the meter is from Raycarinon the mortal enemy of Fiercians. Adam raced to the meter to inform the agent to stop transitions and to relax. The residents of Planet Fierce applauded Adam's actions. They also had a big laugh about the Earthling gossip reports about Adam paying the parking meter, whatever that is. A scholar pointed out that there was a meter maid in a Beatles song and perhaps Adam was aware of this music literature imperative?
