Just to answer a question that no one has asked (yet) -- as long as Miachihu & Zinnia are willing to continue to do Sauli Central, it will remain here. Sauli and Adam are still friends and I hope that Adamtopia and Sauli remain close friends. This is good news because I have become a fan of Sauli! TY!  |

I think Adam was being very literal, in the past, when he talked about not having the time to commit to a relationship.
Adam & Sauli did have real time to spend together, after GNT.
I am not saying this was bad, but I even think Adam's commitment to Sauli was a factor in the delay of Trespassing.
Now, Sauli has a very time consuming new job.
Adam has another album to get out, while traveling & performing all over the world.
Both boys are being respectful of their relationship by ending it now.
ETA
I will be the most surprised person here, if Adam becomes involved in another committed relationship anytime soon.

I know some people are purists about their Adam stanning, but I love that we've gotten to "know" his friends and family, and Sauli. I'd love to keep seeing what goes on with Sauli's life since he has grown and achieved so much since he met Adam. You'll know if the time comes that there is no interest, but right now, I don't think we have to go cold turkey. |

I am very sad about the break-up news but with their schedules it seems like they would spend much more time apart than together. Perhaps they don't want to live their lives like that. I wish there is love and happiness for both of them to come. The timing is good or bad, it's now 7 pm which is probably too late for weekend tabloids. That means that no hope for this to go away quickly with one huge meadia storm - it will be reported a week from now too. Wow, my heart hurts. The split confirms what many of us felt but left unstated. So why does this feel so painful to me when Adam is looking so happy and fine? Maybe because that, although he is so honest about his feelings, he also is well aware of his public persona and the game face that he has to show when he is out and about. So maybe he is "acting" a little bit for the media and covering his pain. Maybe because he knows how invested his fans are in this relationship and his happiness, he has to "keep his chin up" for our sakes. It saddens me to think that Adam may have had to "plan" how to let us down easy to spare us when he was going through this big life change. Maybe because of things Adam has said in the past about wanting to find love, and that he has been so open about his love for Sauli throughout this relationship, that I realized how important love is for him. His life was so full and he seemed so happy. I loved the fact that he had Sauli to turn to for comfort if he was hurting. Now that piece is missing from his life and it can leave a pretty big hole. This was the first big romance that we Glamberts got to watch and enjoy in our fandom. I for one was rooting so hard for them. I love them both, together or apart. Overinvested? For sure. Was not expecting this to be so gut wrenching. I know, I need to get a grip. But not today.  |

Adam Lambert and Boyfriend Sauli Koskinen Split
Adam Lambert has split with his boyfriend Sauli Koskinen, South Florida Gay News reports: “It’s been kind of on its way out in the last couple of months,” Lambert told SFGN.
Koskinen is a Finnish entertainment reporter, television host and radio personality. He rose to fame after winning his country’s version of Big Brother in 2007.
Lambert emphasized though the two are close and will continue to remain friends.
“Sauli and I remain really good friends, and I know it’s a cliché thing to say. But it’s totally true,” he said. “I just gave him a coffee and bagel earlier today. He’s a great person and we’ve had an amazing couple of years together. Things have just run their course.”

Looking at pictures of Adam and Sauli together just makes me sadder. I hope everyone will respect the different reactions to the news here. Some are okay with it and just looking forward to seeing what the future holds, and some of us are depressed and not finding it easy to accept. There is no wrong way to feel. Well, except for the Tommyberts who think Sauli was a beard for an Adam/Tommy romance. I think we can all agree that they've been insane for quite some time.

I feel kinda sad about the news.. I always thought that they were the perfect couple, but I understand it, because they both are so busy. There has been signs about it but I've ignored them.. I wish the best of luck to both of them. And stay strong  I'm just wondering how the trolls knew about it? Or was it just a coincidence? |

I did not like Adam annoucing this alone, it should had been a common thing. I don't like how he has been behaving for quite a long time. I have said it before, and say again, "it's not what but how". I'm sure they agreed on how to say it and when. Sauli is not a celeb in the US. It would have been weird for them to announce it together over there, I think. If Katri is getting something ready, like that Tweet of her implied, then I'm sure the news were meant to come out kinda simultaneously in both countries. Maybe that site that got Adam's part was too eager to share it and they published it too soon. And what do you mean, how he's been behaving? I ask because I genuinely don't understand. |
