Agree with durberville - we've probably all seen this coming for a while. They would appear to have been leading more separate lives since January and it was kept under wraps until the right time - perhaps the Helsinki show was a consideration.
I'm not afraid or ashamed to say that every time he's been reported out-and-about lately I have been anxious to hear if Sauli was with him or not....usually not.
But they had a good run through a lot of pressures and prolonged work separation that would have tried anyone. Each of them looks sparklingly happy and healthy - they are both supported by families and careers and are balanced enough to maintain an on-going friendship and I really hope that happens. I wish them both well.

I wish them both well. I've been going through my e-mail in the last couple of days because I want to stop using my old hotmail address and use only my gmail. I have an e-mail to my boyfriend at the beginning of February about the Helsinki gig. After some ticket details, I told him her that Sauli and Adam hadn't really been seen together much lately. I literally told him her: "Well, if they're not together anymore, they won't say it until after Helsinki." So yeah... I think the show was a consideration. ETA: Ooops, I just checked. It wasn't to my boyfriend, it was to my K-Pop friend who loves Adam. |

Well, I'm not that suprised either. Had a feeling that something was off before the tour, but I think they didn't want announce it then. Happy to hear that they are still friends. Nothing in Finnish press so far, but they will pick it up soon. I think we all had little feelings in the last few months that something wasn't quite right. But then, there was the Valentine's Day tweet, the fact that they were together at the same hotel in Finland, the fact that Sauli went to Russia to attend the WAG Tour, the fact that Adam dedicated BE to Sauli in Helsinki... I don't know. I thought I was imagining things. And then this week the trolls and haters have been very active. To be honest, it was driving me mad. I was like: "So Adam is going out on his own, so what?" Even though, yes, it's a little bit weird to go out without your boyfriend every day. Oh, and Neil's tweet to that troll. It didn't deny, it just stated that how Adam felt about the breakup wasn't the troll's business. Well, I'm just glad Adam's been out and seemingly content. And Sauli too.  I think they might have had a sort of time out period during tour. And the final decision was made after that. Or something. Oh well, I wish all the happiness for both them. |

Yeah, Adam did say it had been coming for a couple of months. I'm sure they've had time to process. I wish them both all the happiness too. |

Damn, I'm really sadz. It's like he is a member of my family. I took my daughter's breakup better (cause I didn't like him, and felt he wasn't the right guy, but said nothing). With Adam their personalities were so compatible, a match made in heaven, but there were some telling signs. Sauli just talking about the language barrier, was very telling!!!

Awww.. well this makes me very sad. Love is everything. All this hard work for a career and not to have love. I have wanted to ask since the Valentines tweet, ninjas that could tell where they had their dinner by the background. I thought Adam's makeup was running, like he had been crying. Did anyone else think that? The lighting is very poor in the picture, so it could be that. I remember thinking then, is he crying because he is going to miss Sauli? Or is he crying because they already wondered if this was their last time together as a couple. Or was he crying? Here is the photo followed by a brightened and sharpened version. There is one streak below one eye. Based on seeing Adam perform when he is dripping with sweat, his eyeliner does not streak easily. This particular streak on his left eye only, and not in the corner, does not look like the result of crying to me.   |
