There must be a disconnect between TPTB and what actually goes on at the station/public level. The DJs or marketers who run all these contests seem to know that Adam generates hits all day long, so it would seem a few actual radio plays would not be a waste of their time...
It will be really interesting to see what happens to radio vs. online in the next year or so. I'm not cheering for radio.

When technology companies are developing software they always give the version a working title - usually has no relationship to what the software does - one of my clients years ago named all their software under development after sharks... So the development stage working title for Adam 3 could be something completely stealth and unrelated to any obvious glam reference or adam isms. He seems to like astrology and mythology so something from those worlds could work. Perhaps in reference to both his first major musical theatre break and his astrology working title could be: "Age of Aquarius" On an unrelated trivia note - realised tonight watching the Voice Oz that Adam and Ricky Martin share pretty much the same hairdo. I love your idea of a working title and your idea of taking the working title from Hair. A one word title might be easier to write repeatedly. How about Conviction, from Adam's solo song?

I think Adam is very cerebral amount his role as an agent of change so I would call the album Iconoclast Reveries. It would be full of poignant lyrics and soaring melodies that would highlight his power and range. The songs would be songs that just about nobody else could sing well spotlighting what makes him so unique. It would be in the Pop/Rock genre and quite Pinkish. CLYG would have fit in this album and so would Runnin'

I have no idea of the direction of #3. His tastes are so eclectic - it could be anything: Pop Rock, Funk, Electro, Angsty Ballads, Dance, PopOpera, and on & on. Or a mixture of all of them. NOT
