Looks like a lot of promotion and no real story to me. Murray promoting himself and The Abbey, and Andrew promoting his underwear because Murray is one of his models.

Ok I feel like responding to no one in particular.

At first I thought "recordings" was nothing. Simply another word--HEY HE OWNS A THESAURUS! HE CAN'T SPELL THESAURUS BUT HE OWNS ONE! YAYAYAY!--for album and nothing more. Po-tay-to, Po-tah-to. But then, ok yeah after a few more times of him seemingly using that word deliberately I started to side eye it.

Yeah ok MAYBE he is choosing his words here for a reason.

But what reason? Who knows! Maybe it means something, everything or nothing.

But for the record here are my thoughts.

1) I believe he is getting a third album. An actual ALBUM. I think RCA would be fools to not give him another and yes I have seen people wondering about it in various places. Yeah Trespassing wasn't all it should have been but it's not like it was Adam's fault (And maybe I am crazy but I believe they realize their missteps) and it's not like it was a major blunder. I hit #1, it cracked into CHINA and did respectably in other international areas and who knows how nice the combined sales figures are. Helllo Xtina had the FLOP HEARD ROUND THE WORLD 'Bionic' and still got another album. Adam is a unique artist in a unique position who is at the very start of his career. There is SO MUCH untapped potential (and revenue!) there it's crazy and I think his label knows this and is behind him.

2) I believe he will get the third album out MUCH quicker and this time there is is stricter schedule. Earlier on in some Lyndsey Parker interview before Divas he pretty much stressed that getting back into the studio was super important. He could have had an extended tour for his album but he didn't. Why not? Well it would make sense if RCA wanted him to get started on the next project asap. And yes we may not "know" anything yet and it may not look like anything is happening (And yea he did say that stuff in the interview for Miami about not knowing when he's going to get started but...he has lied before. He doesn't tell us everything, and sometimes it's because he can't.) but that doesn't mean shit isn't going on full steam ahead behind the scenes. I more than anyone piss and moan on twitter about "WAAAAH I WANNA KNOW WHEN HE IS IN THE STUDIO WAAAAH" but then common sense (and the meds) kick in and tell me that he could be in the studio or writing RIGHT NOW and we'd never know. A lot of artists can get out great albums in waaay under 2 and a half years. And no I am not talking about the Riri kind of albums. I don't think it would be wise to have such an extended wait between the next album--something I get that even Adam himself realizes-- and I don't think RCA would let him have carte blanche on the timeline here. Time is money after all and most acts have a quick turn around rate. I just saw on twitter today Kelly Clarkson is going to release again in 2014. Bottom line: he can't afford to be a crazy perfectionist this time around.

3.) I believe "recordings" is deliberate but what it means I have no idea. Like I said, it could be him using his thesaurus or he could be working on some collabs? Maybe for other artists albums? Maybe recording an audio book on the history of kale? A dramatic reading of Les Mis? Who knows. But I don't necessarily believe it's a bad thing.

So yeah.

Back to the tweet from this morning, maybe Adam is doing something with Nile.

I have a feeling we won't hear as much unfiltered talk from Adam speculating about Album3.  I think he has learned that fans latch onto his every word. He might wait to say things that are very definite, not just what he is contemplating at the moment.
