I absolutely love Shakira! But I agree that she is not the right duet partner for Adam. The purpose of a duet would be to get Adam radio time by partnering with someone who is basically an automatic add on radio. Shakira is really big world wide, but not so big in the U.S. that she is an automatic add. When she tours the U.S., she only goes to cities that are heavily latino populated, which is no where near me

Katie Perry would be a good choice radio wise, but I am not impressed with her vocals. So, I'm not so sure her voice would mesh well with Adam's. Kelly Clarkson's voice is a much better match for Adam's and she is a good choice radio wise. Both women love Adam, so both might be willing to do a duet with him. Every time Adam is asked about doing a duet, he only mention's female singers. So, I don't think it likely he will duet with Timberlake.

Personally, I'd like to hear Adam with Beyonce. And let them both really belt it out!! But I would be really surprised if Beyonce was willing to do it.

Kelly Clarkson sang a song on Idol tonight called "People Like Us" & I LOVED it.  It's upbeat & fun & radio will play it.  I kept thinking the whole time she was singing "WHY CAN'T ADAM GET A SONG LIKE THIS?"  

I thought that there was some speculation that maybe it was related to the GLADD Awards. Maybe Cher introducing Adam, or maybe a duet there, but I doubt a duet on his next Album. Cher has no current radio presence.

I was looking at old Adam fan videos and I watched this one again....so much fun!  Thought you might enjoy it on a slow day.
