I hope that Adam is not accepting these gaycentric gigs in place of more mainstream events - such as Idol. Adam needs mainstream acceptance and awareness/visibility for his career as well as gay support. I don't want to see him focusing exclusively on the gay aspect at the expense of mainstream opportunities. Yes I know - "worry" is my middle name. Always has been - sorry - guess I'm just wired that way. JMHO, Adam has a lot of time before he need to think about broad promotion. Until he has new music to promote, he will probably not be doing a lot of high-profile promotion in the US. That said, assuming the research studies are correct, 3.5% of US adults define themselves as LGBT -- that is 8 million people, add in their family, friends and supporters and it is a large market. |

Reading the thread..still on page 7. Regarding the sound check tweet. IMO this was misinformation. When does he sound-check a day before the concert? Anyway, looking like its just Adam and the dancers. No band. Back to looking at all the pretty  |
