I wrote to the paper.. I'm sitting here in tears.. as they used Adam and continue to use him.I'm beyond crazed ,since I was in Miami and Adam was so kind to everyone . I was waiting to see Adam after the paper's interview and I got a glimpse of that beautiful face,I saw him get the key to Miami Beach from the Mayor ,I was at his concert.. I took home that newspaper because Adam was in it. They now trash him...OMG I really don't know where to put my fury. The ultimate knife in the back by one in his own community.

The worst thing about reading the comments people have left (appears to be a mix of Adam fans and regular readers -- only one supporting the publisher's view so far) -- is the way they have the page rigged up so the guy's smirking mug travels with you down the page. Is this guy Perez's dad or what. Ew.
P.S. Mellie, I saw your comment, as well as cassie and others I recognize from here. Well said, all.

No paper in the world is made up of uniform opinions. Many times a paper will publish an article or opinion piece by one person, then a separate one by someone with a completely differing opinion. I don't see how one person's take no matter what it is should become the position of the entire staff. That just does not work in most publishing endeavors.

Adam Lambert fans, please do not mistake the view of our publisher with the view of SFGN as a whole.
Our associate publisher @jeparsley, who interviewed Adam Lambert, is writing a rebuttal editorial at this very moment. Better yet to have the staff defend their original decision. And, now that I think about it, the publisher is really criticizing GLAAD and the SFGN staff as much as they are Adam. Kind of hope they're just ignored all the way around like the mosquito they are.

No matter how much I want it not everyone is going to like Adam Lambert. The opinions expressed by the publisher is one held by others. But there are just as many who see what I see and there are some that are only recently coming around to it. It will be interesting to read the rebuttal by the columnist. I would not bother reacting to this article although I would have plenty to say and ask them.
ETA: I could not access the article. Thank you for providing the tweets that had it.

Our associate publisher @jeparsley, who interviewed Adam Lambert, is writing a rebuttal editorial at this very moment. I'll go with this. Not gonna condemn a whole paper because of one person who is mean-spirited. Rebuttal on it's way! Excellent.

If you want to express your opinion to the publisher directly and don't want to go to the site - his twitter handle is @normkent . I gave in to my anger and tweeted him....
