Someone created a troll account to harass Shoshanna about Adam's CMA award not being published world wide. They insinuated that if it was another artist like John Legend it would be.
This is not the first time Shoshanna has been spammed, but it is the first time that I have noticed she opened up the discussion about it.
I thought this was an Adam thing, but apparently , according to her, it happens to everyone.
I find it quite alarming actually, because this troll is attacking everyone that is important in Adam's life, and everyone guy he takes a picture with is getting slammed.
Seriously, the world should just ignore him? I don't think so.

Oh my, I thought I had seen every pair of fabulous boots, but this pair.. love love!! Since it is somewhat a slow day I wonder if we can talk a bit about this troll account(s) that are following Adam and harassing everyone important he knows and comes in contact with. With todays' technology and tracking devices planted in everything we buy from cell phones to cars I would imagine it would not be hard to find this person. With open social media statements of slander, harassment , defamation of character I think this person could be found and charged. And they should be. It's been on my mind for a while, and Shoshanna just tweeted about it today too. It would be easy for Twitter to find this person's IP address. They should block that, instead of just the name. They just don't do it. :( |

I don't know why they don't, or if there is some way to ask ?
I just wonder if this person knew they could be tracked and charged, because I do believe that is very possible perhaps they might reconsider that impact on their life. It is someone posing as a fan that follows someone in Adam's fandom closely.

It is someone posing as a fan that follows someone in Adam's fandom closely. This person could be tracked and charged but only by Adam or his management (they should submit a formal complaint). And IMHO they will never do it. |

They wouldn't be charged, but it is so easy to find an IP if you are an administrator of a site, I have no idea why twitter only blocks the name! ??? |

These people are manipulative, irresponsible, show no empathy and seem to feel no guilt for their actions.
Whether they say they are joking around or are serious, I think these people are psychopaths and dangerous.
I am very concerned about the internet harassment & bullying and I think that the police should be, too.

Probably because trolls and trash talk are part of the twitter culture and social media culture in general. Even with a huge staff hunting and banning those who live to trash talk, twitter, facebook, etc could not control the phenomenon. Perhaps better to concentrate on those who seem to be making serious, credible threats. I confess, sometimes I do not understand human beings at all. |
