I receive U.S.channels in Mexico and it's not a problem to vote. It requires a masking service through the web but I also have a Magic Jack which gives me a U.S. phone number. Just keep hitting redial! And when Adam was on Idol, I was in Saudi for a company reunion - panic setting in that I would miss the show... Well the friends that I stayed with also had U.S. satellite and a U.S. phone service so I got to vote for Ring of Fire. My friends didn't quite understand - didn't matter, I voted. So funny and soooooo true! I voted secretly from my parent's house... ![]() </img> |

People from outside of US can vote on American Idol using a masking service through the web. (You can also cheat the Time Zone rules in the US.) I wonder if it is a slow version of Mad World? My guess is it is also not a cappella. Adam has NEVER ---- well, except for the National Anthem during Idol, and the audition ---- sung a cappella for a performance since Idol. I think they probably mean "acoustic". It's a mistake I have seen many times before. "A cappella" means only voice, with no instruments at all. I would be in heaven if he DID sing a cappella, but I think it is highly unlikely. He CAN do it, but why would he choose to? |

augenpoesie, The music award alternates being given between the NYC & LA ceremony. Adam was out of town for both! He is being honored in SF. The music award is being given in SF for the first time. Plus, 2 nominees have been at the NYC & LA ceremonies (Jake Shears and Beth Ditto of Gossip) and did not receive it. So, it may be that Adam is not only getting the BIG guest of honor award, but he might also be getting the music award. Can't think of any other reason they would do the award in SF

This white shirt is famous in the fandom. Surprised anyone had not seen these! Dilemmas, dilemmas. Change desktop (currently pic of sexy AFL with unbuttoned shirt and gold glasses) to famous pic of sexy AFL with white open-neck shirt or not? Such is the burden of having an embarrassment of riches to choose from. If I were clever, I'd figure out a way to have them both but alas, I am not. If I wait long enough however, someone will no doubt post yet another pic I can't resist. ETA - AFL, on the other hand, is so clever. How perfect would it be to do Mad World, his ultimate AI competition "moment", for the ultimate viewing audience of China Idol? |
