Shady is on my mind. It's is a masterpiece, and in my opinion will be one of Adam's early songs that will stand out in his long body of work. I love Nile and thru him (and Queen) I really learned that top notch musicians can make a huge difference. There is no doubt that Nile is a musical genius that helped to polish Shady into its final form. But I believe that Niles contribution to this song was just one of the many many brillant parts of it. Shady is thick, detailed and complex, and that was there when Niles entered to scene. He added the finishing funk to a already funky song. I give the credit to Adam and Sam for building this amazing song and recognizing who it needed to take it to yet another extra mile.

I am completely excited at the thought that Adam may be working with Nile again--not because of Shady necessarily, but because he is a musician at Adam's level of brilliance. I think what they put out would be completely different than we've seen and of top quality.

And as a side note, I also like to think of Adam surrounded by his level of...humanity maybe? Adam seems to attract the best people. This is one of the reasons I am so at peace with his lack of mainstream fame. If those that value true talent and integrity, and share his pasion and heart, are by his side as colleagues and fans, then who needs the others no matter how great their (empty) numbers?
