Does anyone think it could be a Shady performance on Idol? Looks like two separate projects. There are two studio there. 1. Idol records the contestants tracks' at Nightbird studios -- that is the 4 songs in 3 hours -- they do not get a lot of time. 2. Adam, Nile and @avicii would be something for A3! (picture hundreds of dancing penguins!!!) And no I do not think this has anything to do with Adam and Nile doing Shady on Idol. This week is already announced -- David Cook will be on the results show. That only leaves one more results show and the Finale.* If Adam does perform on Idol, and I still doubt he will be on but would be thrilled if he does appear, he would probably perform something that has a shot of selling to the Idol audience -- vs. Shady. Maybe he could do BTIKM? (He already did NCOE.) I really can't see any strong strategic reason why Adam would do the show this season. He has nothing to promote and usually current artists reserve these high-profile slots for new music. Of course, I would love to see him do Trespassing and do it to the ADAMIZED MAX on Idol, just to see the havoc that would ensue!  * For those keeping score there are not a lot of options for the Top 3 week. Q3 - yep - it was a bit of wishful thinking but you never know. I still remember the night when Adam thought he was in Scotland and we all thought he'd be singing half a verse of We Are the Champions! We were all wrong LOL
ETA: And thanks to 4msrmyn, Jablea and Murly for your help with posting. Think I've got it sussed now.

Interesting how Avicii also (re Daft Punk) talks about being able to get real instruments and musicians in the studio now that he has had some success, getting better sound that way and not needing to simulate everything with computer. Another important point is that he says he needs a singer to create music as he doesn't sing himself and that he thrives on working with different kinds of people - and voices, being inspired by their individual sound and talent.

And with the Gaga rumors flying all over the place it was just that much betterer! ** I prefer to expect little than to savor the surprises! I veered from that one time, but now I am back on the "no koolaid" wagon. |

I wish Adam would co write with Pinks writers.. I think her type of music is soo perfect for him.MAX MARTIN please Yes!!! Max Martin and Jeff Bhasker (I think he produced Pink's latest album). I really hopes he gets to work with these guys. I just feel like top 40 radio is finally moving away from pure dance. There is a window of opportunity opening. eta---My guess on the studio stuff is that it is for Avicii's album; and, thanks Nile (probably), for this great opportunity. |
