I AM SOOOOO EXCITED!!!
I am just glad to hear that music is being made, in any way shape or form. I don't think this is for his album though, so not sure we can assume he's gonna put out an album 3 full of electro dance music. But really who knows. But I do feel this is either for Avicii's album OR Nile is maybe doing something similar to what Santana did a few years ago--make an album with guest singers, etc. That was a massive success. That Smooth song was massive and I think that album either was nommed for or won a bunch of Grammy's. Not saying that IS what Nile is doing, because who knows, BUT IF he was maaaan with his legend status and the way the success of Daft etc has brought his name back into the spotlight a Santana-esque album from him featuring hot collabs could be really amazing. And expert timing.
Whatever it's for I am speculating that maybe he 'recordings" he is working on means collabs with other people for THEIR shit so there's something to bridge the gap between now and whenever SOON or ISH happens, and also as a way to kind of (hopefully) break down radio so when he does have his own music to drop there isnt so much resistance. Maybe thats why he is saying recordings--because he is doing this shit first and THEN starting full speed on his album? idk idk
I am just excited. I have ALWAYS wanted him to do one of these collabs with a hot dj. I've heard so many and with ppl who can't even sing....and ngl glad its with someone who isn't as ubiquitously annoying and played out as David Guetta even if radio loves him.
Adam doing collabs like this is smart. It exposes him to a whole world of people who would never have heard him. I hope he can collab with lots of more artists!

After reading the article in RS about Avicii working on his next album, I am thinking that Adam may be contributing to that more than doing something for himself. man the suspense gets crazy at times. arrrrrgggggghhhhh!!! Drive by post; haven't read the thread but...OMG to the slightest possibility of an Adam-avicii-Nile collab!!!! My biggest wish is for Adam to be a collaborating/featured vocalist with someone unexpected. This fits perfectly!!!! :D
