twitter.com/adamlambert... For those of you who haven't joined Adam's Twitter please think of doing so .. so easy and he's soooo close to 2,000,000. Let's bring this baby HOME. I second this! If you're one of those people holding out because "Twitter is the devil," maybe you don't realize that you don't have to follow anyone except Adam. In that case, you'll only see his tweets. Of course, you may want to follow some of the people in his life, like Eber, who is very funny and insightful on Twitter, but you don't have to see all the nonsense out there if you don't want to. It's free and easy to sign up for a Twitter account and then you won't have to wait for someone to bring Adam's tweets here--they'll pop up on your feed and if he ever has a Twitter party, you can join in! Have I convinced everyone yet?

If it is true that Adam did not do Gay Prides before because RCA and his management didn't want him pigeonholed as a "gay artist", I wonder what has made them go after the gay market more aggressively now? Could it be an acknowledgement that public acceptance of the LGBT community is increasing, or perhaps Adam has pressed to be more active in promoting equality? I hope it pays off for him in support for his music and his concerts. My impression of the community is that it is a very hard nut for gay artists to crack. When people mention a gay icon it is usually a straight woman like Gaga or Madonna. The article posted about who performs at big Pride events, attests to this.
Wanted to add, I don't think Adam will ever be classified as a "gay artist" because straight women love him too much to give him up. Really he is so extremely talented, charismatic and nice that he will break down barriers that will eventually lead the the extinction of the term "gay artist" and all will just be considered "artists".

OK, I'm not a good translator. But since it's such a slow day, I'll try to translate what's printed next to this picture. Adam in the eyes of a reporter Interviewed Adam in his suite at his hotel, first thing he asked the hotel staff to do is open the window, because he feels stuffy. A Chinese staff told the reporter Adam only gave the magazine photographer 30 seconds to shoot, because he's not happy with his own look. (The staff) also said Adam refused earlier to shoot for a male magazine. Our photographer asked Adam to sit down and took some pictures. Adam asked " Want to stand up?" We all thought he meant he wants to take some picture standing up. Actually what he meant is for the photographer. " Can you take my pictures standing up, so I won't look too fat." After taking the pictures, Adam went in the room, then came out again still in all black, but with a different vest. He purposely lowered his voice and said "hello" into the reporter's recording, totally like a naughty big boy. During our interview, we are very much distracted by his black eyeliner and nail polish.

Have I convinced everyone yet? I totally agree with you. I did have some people on my Twitter that I realised I didn't want there so I unfollowed them and I never have to deal with them again. The power is in my hands, I decide who I want on my Twitter and who not. Thanks for translated the Shangai Weekly Magazine article sk_PF. It's different than the usual articles about his likes and dislikes and being the first out gay artist blah blah blah. Funny how something "normal" (for us) like nail polish and eyeliner can be a shock to someone else. I don't think Adam gets enough credit for what he does for, not only LBGTQ people, but also people who are not your cookie-cutter kind of person - as Adam puts it - the freaks. He's doing ground-breaking stuff introducing people to what they don't know and see that it is actually also a kind of normal

Another Adam mention: Candice managed to outdo that gem with “You’ve Changed,” which purred, revved, and shot sparks like an exploding 18-wheeler. I’m with Nicki on this one: There’s nothing to say! She is the best single vocalist the show has had since Adam Lambert, except her song choices are weirdly more wicked and — get this! — more sexual. Fire, Candice. www.thebacklot.com/american-idol-recap-scary-connick-jr/05/2013/

Oh Adam..... [eyerolls] For such a skinny man, even now, he always seem be convinced that he weighs too much.
