Oh boy, if Idol chooses, I don't see Adam going for it, do you? He balked at dueting with the Voice contestant in China until he heard his voice. I think Idol has 'chosen' enough for one year for Adam. #judgingfiasco I'm sure Idol chooses who will get a duet (beyond the Top 2) according to who they are lining up as their guest stars. Really, besides Lazaro, all the kids are good singers this year. When I said Angie, Candice or Devin, I was going by style and genre. I mean he's not going to duet with the country girl, Janelle! I know, bb and I think you are spot on. I only meant Adam likes to have a certain amount of control as to how he commits himself. And...my fingers wanted some exercise today, but my brain isn't cooperating. I'm not even an Idol fan and if I start to watch one vid, I get snagged every darn time. I listened to FYE everyday for months. I made a go-to-sleep playlist of WWFM, BO, Loaded Smile, Soaked and Sleepwalker that I listened to almost everynight for a year or so. I think I have more favorites off of FYE, ie, FYE, Voodoo, Sleepwalker, Masterplan, Fever, DTRH, IIHY, Pick U up- pretty much the entire album! There were more songs for every mood on it. I have not listened to Trespassing nearly as much as I did FYE. My besties on TSP are Naked Love, Shady, Chokehold, Map, and Broken English. I could not find any songs for a go-to-sleep playlist though. I disliked much of the production on many of the tunes, OOL especially. The bottom line- Adam Lambert makes great music when he is allowed to have his say. In other words, Take One sucked!
Jinkx Monsoon is going to be at the GLAAD awards! I would die for a picture of him and Adam together! I hope they get to connect.

WWFM??? No offense Jablea, but that song TO ME has been Idol'd to death...JMO. It would be a snoozefest compared to something more uptempo. Now watch it happen..lol..again, I know nothing. I've trying to decide my fav and least fav songs and to do so I had to go to Itunes to see which I've played the most. the top player has been IsThisLove_Take40_Sydney followed by Cuckoo, voodoo and Trespassing/Shady tying for third. I went to Tucson yesterday and Cuckoo was repeated a lot on the car CD. Seems my least fav was NOCE, but I knew that without looking.
Hah. Nonotme so which name are you going to call me in SD? Duchess? Hutch? Linda? Yellow Rose? Barbara? And you think a son who left me gasping on the sidewalk in New Orleans is going to find a line-stander for me?

Cannot pick one album over the other, but here are my most liked and least liked songs from both FYE and TRSP:
FYE Most Liked: Sleepwalker, Voodoo, Strut, Broken Open.
--Each time I hear Broken Open, I think about Fantasy Springs - need I say more?
--VOODOO. Out of everything he's recorded, is there any other song that better captures that mesmerizing effect AFL has on us?
--Sleepwalker is just a great song - SHOULD HAVE BEEN A SINGLE.
--My sister and I are huge football fans, so every time our favorite team (Steelers!) scores a touchdown or field goal, we break out into a chorus of Strut, complete with dance moves.
FYE Least Liked: Master Plan. I just have never connected with this song.
FYE On the Fence: Can't Let You Go. Would have been a major favorite, but the production drowns out Adam's gorgeous voice.
TRSP Most Liked: Shady, Runnin, Nirvana, Broken English.
--Can never sit still when Shady comes on.
--Runnin shows off Adam's range like nothing else except CLYG.
--Nirvana and Broken English are drop dead SEXAY!
TRSP Least Liked: Never Close Our Eyes, Better Than I Know Myself.
I don't really dislike these songs, and Adam performs them beautifully. But I don't feel him inhabiting them like he does other songs on the album. Neither one feels like an "Adam song," and it's not because he didn't write them; for instance, he didn't write Mad World, but he owns that song, and we feel his emotional response to the lyrics (as his former voice teacher Lynne points out during one of the True Hollywood story segments).

For some reasons , this makes me very happy . Let them eat their fingers in regret for not hiring Adam . What were they thinking ? Putting a man who has basically no fucking clue what's going on , a rapper who only cares about her WTF lady gaga-copycat costumes and rainbow-y wigs and her big boobs and big ass and can only utter "you a stoopid ho , you a , you a stoopid ho" again and again , a Diva with an amazing voice but clearly lacks , umm , who do you say it , lack humbleness ? or maybe she's good but just can't stand the "Rap Princess" (and I can't stand her either) , and a good-looking (yea i like him) gentleman who's head is on the verge of exploding for all the diva bitching . No surprise the show is goin' down . and down it goes . |

One thing I did notice is that Trespassing is missing the inclusive crowd song or representative song, i.e. it is actually not easy to pick one song from TSP that would be good to sing on idol. In China they picked Mad World. I think they may also have had a bit of a struggle to find the right song to REPRESENT on the show. WWFM fulfilled that role for FYE. It also has in its hook a good question to ask for an artist at the beginning of his career. WWFM? Before I leave for my out of town weekend ..... Can I just say NAKED LOVE !!!!
Crowds love this and it is time for Idol to step up. Either Naked Love (crowd-pleasing whoahhh-ohhhh-ohhh chorus) or IIHY (bounce bounce bounce) gets my vote for an Idol performance. |

It is hard to ignore a 2 million dollar selling single. If any song on Trespassing had done that, IT would be the song you are talking about! We'd be going CUCKOO!!!!!!!!  |
