HE IS THE FIRST NON WINNER TO DO THIS!!!!!!! OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!! Adam is dueting with Angie Miller!!!!!!! t.co/dREadkrNTkI did not realized it had never happened before until I read your post! Probably because I keep forgetting Adam did not win. But then again maybe he did win in the end. The only other non-winners who have been in the finale were jokes and do not count: 2006 AI5 Clay appeared when failed auditioner Michael Sandecki returned to the show to receive a "Golden Idol" award for Best Impersonator for his Clay Aiken-like appearance. 2010 AI9 Larry Platt feat. William Hung sung "Pants on the Ground". Yes, and none of them sang with a Finalist. This is an honored spot for both the contestant and the artist, IMO! ![]() |

YAY ADAM on AI. OT but related to Adam. The first three performances on The Voice tonight have been Sam Sparro's Black and Gold, Stay, and now Starlight (not a great singer--out of tune). More OT -- and then one of the singers from Usher sang "Starlight". Ummm no. Do not cover songs that Adam has done. The next singer - also not good. The judges have been good this season but tonight they seem hard of hearing. They are channeling Lopez, Tyler and Jackson. No discrimination Would like to post on the Voice thread but no one has posted there since December! Unless I am not finding the right thread. |

I have actually been watching AI this season, as there is nothing else on tv to watch except reruns of old shows. I am not into reality tv, and that's what seems to dominate tv now. Bloody boring!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know AI is reality tv, but on a different level than most of other reality tv shows. I don't like the Voice, as not one of their winners has accomplished any notoriety. I find it phony and fake, and a great place for the judges to promote themselves. Not one successful singer to date.
I am not an Angie fan. I like Candace better, and she and Adam would have done one hell of a duet. I think Candace will win, but Angie has a good chance. Candace was been placed under the bus several weeks ago, but there is a turn-around. The only judge I like is Keith Urban, and I have grown in my appreciation of him. Nicki Minaj is classless, and Mariah just rambles, and Randy is Randy. From what I have read, Idol is nose-diving and each week, the viewership is going down dramatically. So I am hoping AI will actively promote the finale, and people will tune in to see the celebrities.
But I'll take the Angie and Adam duet and love it, because of Adam.

And I think that they will really sound wonderful together. ETA: Yes, they used AYGMW on one of The Voice Battle Rounds last week. Shakira's Team "Are You Gonna Go My Way" Karina Iglesias. And Amber Carrington covered "Stay" for the first solo performance of the night tonight.  So far tonight -- the group number was Sam Sparro's "Black and Gold" and the first 2 solo performances are songs Adam famously covered: Stay and Starlight. |

Glad to see he is going to be on, but why did it have to be with Angie? My utter dislike for her comes very close to cancelling out my interest. Ugh.
