I'm wondering if the uptick in his album sales was seriously helped by the mention in the video of it being a Billboard #1. I'll be a lot of people who haven't been tracking him went "Whaaa? How'd I miss that?" I'm so glad he has that bragging right. Exactly what I was thinking! That achievement never really got the publicity it deserved so I'm really glad it was mentioned. I think it had many people thinking "Wow it must be damn good if it was #1!" (Not that everything #1 is good - )

The great thing though is that Billboard is now doing an end run around radio. We need to stream and watch those videos on Vevo every single day. And when the new music comes out, even more! The quote from Billboard, when they announced their new policies was, "Radio doesn't 'tell' us what people want to hear." LOL! Duh! Ya think?! Also, RIAA announced a few days ago that they will also be using streams and video views for Gold and Platinum certifictaions! This is HUGE news! 100 streams or views will count as a the equivalent of one sale. The RIAA shift is huge: So a question on the youtube. Since Adam's official videos are on VEVO will anything on youtube count for him? I would like to see every video that has his song as a background - ie all the fan videos yay!, get counted too. Any chance of that?

I guess I took the non mention as a diss, but maybe not! I know how much she admires Jessie J. She's certainly said it enough! Either way our boy will be on the stage, that's good enough for me!!

belle....no worries.
"My mother taught me that when you stand in the truth and someone tells a lie about you, don't fight it." - Whitney Retweeted by the Blondes on April 10th.
"Haters gonna hate and the winds gonna blow." Hold On by Adam amazing Lambert.
It's sad that there are so many unhappy hurtful people in the world, but love conquers all.
All the best to those attending the GLAAD awards tonight. I can't wait to hear all about it!

I am trying not to be overly thinned skinned about Adam, but I sure wish Angie would have been more gracious in her interview with RS. Now it will appear that Adam's duet was sort of foisted upon her, and that she would rather be singing with someone else. Would it have killed her to say something like "Of course singing with a talented singer like Adam will be fantastic too"?

I am less interested in Angie than I am in what Adam will be singing and if he will do a duet? Angie was asked about Jessie J. who is her favorite artist. She did not bring it up. AND the combo of an evangelical Christian singer and Adam was a bit odd, so maybe now that she is #3 they will move it around a bit. In any case, they are not supposed to talk about the finale in advance. Q: You’ll be back to sing on the finale next week, and there are rumors you’ll duet with either Idol alum Adam Lambert or your own personal idol Jessie J. Any truth to those rumors? Angie: I don’t know 100% what’s going on yet. I would die if I were able to sing with Jessie J. That would be the most incredible thing ever, so I hope it happens. I think there may be a weird edit in the Rolling Stone article --- here is another question from the press event: Q: Has she heard from Jesse J.? Angie: “When I did her song, ‘Who U R’ on the show, she did tweet me. She said ‘so incredibly proud’ or something like that. So that was awesome. She hasn’t in the past 24 hours, but I would LOVE to get in touch with her! That would be amazing!” We all know from experience how the press edits and moves around and prints what they want. What I am reading is they haven't started practice for the finale yet. Still, if she didn't mention being thrilled at singing with Adam, then , yeah. Lots to learn. OR< it could mean Adam is now dueting with someone else. Mashed potato readers needed.

I wish Angie had said it would also be incredible singing with Adam too! Yeah, it would have been more polite to say it would be incredible to sing with either of them although Jessie J. is her personal favourite or something. But let's give her some leeway, she is young and new to the game! This is the part of the interview that she could have easily said something nice about Adam. She doesn't even mention him at all. What a bi*** Q: What can Angie spill about her duet with Adam Lambert on the finale? Angie: “That’s the great thing. I’m not going anywhere, I’m still here. I’m going to start rehearsing and practicing for the finale this week. I’m so excited. I don’t know 100% what’s going to be going on yet, I’m so excited to be singing again. I’ll be singing on the Nokia stage, and I really can’t wait.” Read more: adamtopia.com/thread/1722/page/4/24th-annual-glaad-media-awards?page=4#ixzz2T06g1nDa

Putting myself in Angie's shoes...it sounds to me like the duet with Adam is a done deal, what's still up in the air is Jesse J or anyone else she may be performing with. That's how I see it anyway. OR...maybe Adam will perform with the actual winner or runner up. ( insert an evil grin smilie here; can't do smilies on my phone)

Didn't he even say it was an honor when Siobhan in Season 9 said that people said she was like Adam?
