What a beautiful evening. I felt joy when I saw pictures of Adam with Jennifer Tyrrell and then with Shane Bitney Crone. It is like I know these people because I have heard their stories. I am so happy for them. That they got to meet Adam and he them. Jenn was the cub scout leader who was asked to give up her role in scouting. Shane is the young man who made the heart wretching youtube after his partner died. (He is now involved with a movie to be made by Linda Bloodworth Thomason.) Oh and I have been a fan of Wilson Cruz since My So Called Life days.
It is so exciting to see Adam get the respect and recognition he deserves. His speech was authentic. We, as Glamberts, have heard it before, so we know it was all Adam. God, he is eloquent with his words. He says what needs to be heard.
Much gratitude to everyone who brought the pics, tweets and videos over! My life has been enhanced by your efforts!
