Aleksandrakv: (Aleks seems too casual just now) I do hope Adam gets to read your post. It is remarkable. You speak for me, but say it all much better than I could. Thank you.

Michael Slezak @michaelslezaktv AMERICAN IDOL: 30 Best Performances of All Time tvline.com/2013/05/15/american-idol-best-performances-all-time-candice-glover-kelly-clarkson/ … [Read it and cheer/rage/weep] MAY 15, 2013 American Idol: 30 Best Performances of All TimeBY MICHAEL SLEZAK American Idol wraps its twelfth season with a two-part finale (tonight and Thursday, 8/7c on Fox), and in the midst of the Candice-Vs.-Kree debate, a larger question looms: Is there room for either of these ladies (or any of their recently vanquished rivals) in a countdown of the show’s all-time greatest performances? I tried to answer that question by taking a long hard look at the finest Season 12 moments alongside the greatest hits from years past. I’ve added, subtracted, rejiggered and reconfigured, till I finally had a list that didn’t make me actively loathe myself. (Hey, no one ever said it was easy being an Idoloonie.) For the record, I limited my countdown to competitive performances on live shows — meaning semifinals, finals, and wild cards count; exit performances, auditions, and Hollywood Week do not — and still ended up with two or three dozen amazing moments left on the outside looking in. (Oh how “Superstar,” “A House Is Not a Home,” and “The Scientist” forced me to consider making this a Top 35 list!) I also decided on allowing only one performance per contestant in the Top 25 — because spreading the wealth is fun. I weighed everything from vocal excellence to emotional connectedness to creativity and risk (with bonus points for competition-altering moves). 4. Adam Lambert, “Mad World” (Season 8)

Well, Aleks, I love it when you "gets to thinking" and get "all wordy" on us! Wonderful post. In contrast, my love of Trespassing sounds a bit trite. Of course, I love the music; but what still makes me smile is my box set and the memory of how I seemed to be the first in the fandom to receive it. It was a little moment of fame for me and Adamtopia.

MTV Style @mtvstyle LOVE all the head-to-toe monochrome looks from last night's @nylonmag party! on.mtv.com/15N8sIK @adamlambert pic.twitter.com/c1UrAIUSWrAdam Lambert, Ashley Benson, And More Sport Head-To-Toe Monochrome At Young Hollywood PartyPosted by Chrissy Mahlmeister in Dudes, Events, MTV Stars, Trends Holland Roden, Adam Lambert, Ashley Benson, Jaden Smith, and Audrina Patridge at the 'NYLON' magazine Young Hollywood Issue party in Hollywood on May 14. Whew, if there's one event we'd want to squeeze into all year long, it'd definitely be last night's Young Hollywood party hosted by NYLON! I mean, literally all of our favorite people arrived decked out in the most effortlessly-cool ensembles, and, oddly enough, they all seemed to stick with one particular trend—the head-to-toe monochrome look. Holland Roden, Adam Lambert, Ashley Benson, Jaden Smith, and Audrina Patridge sported outfits devoid of ANY color (like, not even on the shoes or accessories, y'all), and considering it's almost summer AND they're in California, this feels pretty out of character, dontcha think? Luckily, us New Yorkers love a good ol' gothy ensemble, so we're obsessed with their dark take on typically springy trends. Teen Wolf star (and two-time MTV.com red carpet host!) Holland sported a simply-chic white blouse with black piping along the seams paired with comfy black shorts and matching heels. She ditched her signature retro red pout for a pale pink lip and pulled her hair up into a tight top knot. Adam Lambert Glambert WERKED his gray burnout tee with an open blazer and skinny black jeans. For a touch of edginess, he threw on a pair of combat boots, a pendant necklace, silver nail polish, and stacked rings, which we love. Ashley definitely went the opposite route of her all-neon-everything look from Spring Breakers by wearing a black-on-black Brian Lichtenberg "Ballin'" beanie, leather jacket, white tank, black skinnies, ankle booties and layered chain necklace. She kept her beauty look simple with beachy waves and soft smoky eyes to make her blue peepers really pop. Jaden KILLED. IT. in a tee from his own MSFTS collection paired with a long-sleeve tee, tight black pants, a bandana (tied below the knee), black sneakers, and a backward hat. Our Hills girl Audrina went for a simply gorgeous black and white skater dress with a black clutch and strappy heels. She clipped back half of her blonde-tipped strands to show off her shiny red lips and shimmery bronze lids. But, we just have to know—who do YOU think wore the best monochrome ensemble last night? Let us know in the comments below!

Seems imma flying fool last couple of days...OK..fly by post.. Adam and Angie can both be goofy, so I think I'd like to see them do 'Cuckoo' on the Finale. It breaks down great for a duet and it would be a super relief from all the ballads..
PTL is still on my 'runnin' list too, but Cuckoo has more lyrics to play with (they just don't have to do the F word..that could be funny in itself.) Just can't get it through my noggin' why Adam wouldn't try to get another push for Trespassing. HAPPY TRESPASSING DAY!!!
ETA: Haven't read the rest of the thread hardly..later...
