So no guesses about what Adam and Angie will perform on Idol? I would like Is this Love - if it's a cover I think it would be a good one. If it's an Adam song I could see BTIKM working as a duet and would prefer that to a retread of WWFM or Mad World or IIHY You really think Angie wants to share the shelter of his single bed? I'm thinking Angie should duet with the Singing Nun. |

people! u r seriously killing me with all the cover talk....i mean it will be a totally lost opportunity to show the work he did for the last two years...just feels like a horrible business move...I understand him doing MW for chinese idol, but to do ANY cover, old or new, would be just projecting a completely wrong image... Almost the same for any song from FYE... People need to here his own brilliant work! WHY not to duet Trespassing? or Cuckoo? or NL? sorry for my phone-typed rant, i seriously need a life.... It may not be Adam's choice. If the producers of Idol feel that his work on Trespassing isn't well-known enough to spotlight, they may insist he do a cover. Better a cover than no appearance at all. Anything he sings will remind the public of how amazing his voice is. |

I don't think a familiar song or a cover would be a horrible move at all. People love to hear familiar songs they know that they can sing along to. AND regardless of what they sing, Adam will be gorgeous and sing wonderfully and be his beautiful engaging self. I see it only as WIN-WIN regardless of choice of song. |

Also - I don't stan any other artists, so if one performs a song on a show, I have no idea if it is old or new. If I am impressed with the performance and the person of the artist, I may choose to check out their music - and maybe become a fan.
I think it would be the same with Adam. Others do not know every little musical note that comes out of his pretty mouth like we do.

Couldn't agree with you more. This is a great opportunity to give millions of people a taste of his music. Why waste this opportunity by singing another artist's song when he has perfectly nice choices on his most recent album. I have said this often, but my choice is BTIKM. Of course, just being on the show will be great promo in and of itself, but honestly I think it would be better promo for him if he shows off his music. |

There may have been suggestions from the Idol producers, but they would only have been suggestions. Just knowing what Adam is like, I'll bet Angie had a say in the decision. Doubt it would be Stay, BTW. It was done this season already and not very well. Remember, Angie is a 19 year old girl with a certain image. Some of the songs suggested, IMO, would not work for her at all. |

I would only hope that adam sings one of his new songs from trespassing. And if I really want to dream big then maybe we will hear runnin or nirvana just once but maybe someday! |
