I heard it too. Cloud of reality flies in. Don't throw things at me. There is no doubt that Adam wants to be an Idol judge. But with the ratings plummeting so much, I think the suits at FOX will go with big stars. Adam is not a big enough star. The more that FOX has been involved in "fixing" Idol the worse it has gotten. But Kevin Reilly AKA "the man responsible for Mariah and Nickie and Ellen" is pretty much the last word on judges. Should they hire Adam -- absolutely. Will they? I doubt it. I wish Idol would get organic and hire Kelly,Doughtry , Adam & Carrie to be judges with the job of also mentoring.

I know we don't know what is Yo u Tub e's way of counting views and I saw several speculations that p laylists on repeat are not counted. Since we are not sure about this - maybe we can try and stream a pl ayl ist? I don't think it will harm .... and we might find out that we can actually help... There are a few of us that are trying this strategy but we need more streamers. Here is one of the lo ops of the A+A Ti tanum duet: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZeTKWnLmwTg&list=PLGA4B88420sKjV3yxyfI6raajkPsoVwSR&This is a playlist of 5 "Titaniums" that will autoplay. I posted one of these and one of my own with 40 copies of the video earlier and then deleted them because the views from this kind of playlist are NOT COUNTED.

They've already hinted that they aren't. It didn't work last time why would they do that again? I think they have to show their advertisers that they are making changes that make sense this time around. Adam makes sense and I think they know it. If XF is any indication, the budget might be a bit smaller next season too. If I told you all my "Idol Theory" you'd all think I am nuts. Although, my mashed potatoes the past 5 months have a pretty good record! WELL, we all know that we all are NUTS anyway! Otherwise we wouldn't spend so much time waiting for new news and speculating like crazy when there isn't any. So speculate to your heart's content. I sometimes wonder if the crop of sameness we got in this year's contestants was due to a lack of good talent with different interests auditioning, or if it was the judges favoring the same types.

This is what I do for the Titanium video. I am one of the doubters and do not thing looping it works. No one knows for sure! BUT, I decided to loop it when I am not home! I figure since I can't play it anyway, since I am away... what the heck! If a few of them count, it's better than nothing. But when I am home, I do separate views about once an hour. I have set up a test video and determined that as experts have reported, looping the video does not work - replay, playlist, or new play does not matter. The best I can determine is once a video hits 300 views, YT counts one view per IP Address about every 24 hours. There is also some value added for a view every update -- every 2 hours or so for the first day. This appears to decline over time. Edited for clarity.

But they need to do it differently than The Voice & X-Factor. Maybe rotate which judge gets which contestants each week so it is not a "team" mentality. Or a different judge mentors each week with sometimes a guest mentor. And less Jimmy please.

The best I can determine is YT counts one view per IP Address per update period which is about every 2 hours. So one household can get 12 views a day. They override IP address with a unique YT account. So, are you saying that if we could create multiple YT accounts, and play once per each YT account every 2 hours and they all get counted? Might be best to do this with 1 account per different browser as I think YT caches the account information on the browser for some amount of time, but I have not tested this. And it would require creating multiple email accounts under different email names even if you don't really use them.

Posting to show my tried and true avatar and my current number. The crazy thing is when you search for #310 pics you get stuff like this: Tasty-looking for sure but how does it relate to the #310? 3 pancakes and 10 bananas? 10 strawberries? Damn, this is an Adam forum, not Food Network. Sorry, mods, I don't mean to be off-topic. I guess my food avatar takes me boldly where no man dares to go. Shit, now I'm in outer space. I'm done, I promise I'm done. ETA: shit, I can't count. Should have been... And with that number comes.... I honestly don't know why a search for the # 390 brings up this food!!!! Do you think it could be calories. Of course, the pancakes would have to be sans butter and syrup.

No separate accounts won't override IP address but if you have an account it will override multiple IP address. So if you go to Starbucks and login it will connect it. This is from a very reliable tester: YT analysts say very little but they have said incomplete video views are discarded if there are too many of them. They have never defined what is too many.
