Understand the convo has moved on but just wanted to clarify something from Adam's CI appearance and answer a couple of inquires... I had to laugh when I saw that Chinese Idol audition video -- only Adam would get a Chinese hippy as a contestant to judge -- LOL!!! LOL! That contestant wasn't a hippy, she's one of the 55 ethnic minority Chinese, clad in her traditional ethnic outfit, singing in her own ethnic language (not Mandarin) and melody which is passed on from mother to daughter for many many generations. Speaking of Mandarin, someone also was wondering its usage in China as opposed to Cantonese. "In the early 20th century, a standard form based on the Beijing dialect, with elements from other Mandarin dialects, was adopted as the national language. Standard Chinese, which is also referred to as "Mandarin", is the official language of the People's Republic of China", and "Cantonese is a language that originated in the vicinity of Canton (i.e., Guangzhou) in southern China". In other words, Cantonese is a regional dialect mostly spoken in the province of Guangdong and HongKong & Macau, but they also speak Mandarin, kids are only taught in Mandarin in school. There're approx 7 major regional dialects in China. I am hooked by ChinaIdol. Really liked the judges. Does anybody know if they are livestreaming the rest of the episodes and if so, when? The next Sat & Sun are still gonna be at 10:00pm local time, the rest of the program will be at 9:15pm but starting on 6/23 till the finale (8/25), it will air once a week on Sun only, at least this is what is showing on their official page right now. And, you can try using the same links posted before. Enjoy!

The Roller Coaster Series : Day 16
It's May 20th . I can wait for the 25th . I can do it !!!! I CAN DO IT !!!! So the Chidol judging was really good . LOVED the way he was introduced , with "2Oth Century Boy" as a background track . RAK STAR !!!!!!!!! FUCK YEAH !!!!!!!!!!! And the judging ..... I really , really love the way Adam just sat there , with total respect , quietly listening and watching , I love his little cute confused face at the beginning , and then how he slowly smiled , it warmed my heart !!! And really , the girl singing had an angelic voice . Adam's judging was spot on . And I also love the man at the "80's Talkshow" , he seems to love Adam . And Adam was so cute accepting that gift . (Someone here said that it looked like a big dead chicken , well , yeah , it does , LOL) What's next now ? Life Ball ? So now we have FIVE days without anything to chew on ??
It's ok.................

Someone posted this comment on the Titanium duet video. Anyone know why Angie's single won't be able to chart on iTunes? Judd Abu 2 hours ago Angie has confirmed that YSMF won't be able to chart on itunes.. too bad huh But hopefully it can chart on billboard digital sales etc. ETA - And here's Angie's tweet about it: Angie Miller @angieai12 18 May Well, it's official. #YouSetMeFree will not be able to appear on the charts. But it has been doing really well!! Thanks to all of you!!=) <3 It was released by 19 Recordings as part of the Idol show contract. So it added they added it to the AI studio performances on iTunes. (The release was done without much care and they even misspelled Angie's last name. Fixed now.) Angie did not know that it could not chart on iTunes because she was tweeting about it charting on iTunes. And either none of this year's AI season studio recordings charted on iTunes (which I doubt because nothing is on the Top 1500) or they decided not to open them up on iTunes this year. In past years they opened up the iTunes charts after the winner was announced. Perhaps MyS*&@^#r50 knows what is going on.
