It's just talent. @adamlambert The Mayor really seem to understand and appreciated Adam and what he is doing to give hope to many in the LGBT community. The Mayor's words "It's just talent" really touched me because he gets it and he gets Adam!! What a wonderful honor and award this is for Adam.

WOW! Of all the awards he has gotten, this one is the one that made me "verklempt" - choked with emotion. This is a Yiddish word that people use when they are so emotional that they're at a loss for words.

Adam Lambert is an extra ordinary human being... he is working to keep people safe in their diversity ... something which he has always felt with his family and his friends... but which is not a given in the lives of many. Being safe to be who we really are.
Adam says it simply. And he means it sincerely , with consistency .
And the Mayor of LA... there is strength in his conviction... it shows in his introduction of Adam Lambert.
thank you all for making it possible for me to witness this event.
It is not only Adam's music that will be reaching people, but as well as the integrity for which he openly stands for.
