I just watched a documentary on HBO, about Pussy Riot and their trial in Russia. If you have HBO and have the time , please watch this rather frightening glimpse into current Russia. The film shows the judicial system at work to silence all protest against Putin's government . The women are totally courageous performance artists who speak out against the loss of freedom in Russia. IMHO,Their trial reminds me of Kafka's book "The Trial"
The last couple of days of news out of Russia ,gives credence to the wisdom of these young feminists i.e. NO GAY ANYTHING IN RUSSIA and Jail for anyone who is perceived to negatively judge the church.
To add there was a demonstration, Against Putin, today in Russia.. Quite a few arrests.I so feel for the Russian people.. hard times.
