Ok I'm calm now BUT I was having a melt down . This has NOT been a good week.
I had booked a rental car because I hoped and thought I might have passengers. My car is nicknamed the "dog car" as I transport my dogs weekly to field so it looks like shit. No matter how you try, hairs are imbedded permanently and dog 'kisses' are forever etched on my windows. Get the picture. I've given up trying to have the 'perfect' car. Plus my car is older and since Pitts is a distance, we thought it better to rent a car. I will break down and buy a new car but ONLy after my last dog goes to heaven. AND unlike my husband and kids, cars are just a means to get around and not a show piece and status symbol to me. I'd rather spend on jewelry, clothes, bags, food and of course AFL concerts!
SOoooooo I rented a car thru Enterprise Car Rentals. This afternoon, I spoke to the front desk, confirmed arrangements etc. and HE NEVER FUCKING SHOWED UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I called home office to complain but what good would it do. He noted I could drive to the airport which is a distance for me AND in the opposite direction. and their offices do not open until 9 tomorrow morning. I planning to leave tomorrow morn at 7 or so. no fucking rental. I'd fired that clerk in a instant. I'm PISSED.
Could you imagine booking a room only to find it's not in your name. I'd see steam coming out of my ears.
so Saturday morn, I'll solo up to pitts in a big ass car (as I prefer sm) and sing to myself. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. OK I'm done bitchin'
