I also had to respond to this post because I am staying in the Westin -- my room is 22 floors above the stage -- and I can see the premium pit area from my room! But we will not be able to walk down Liberty Ave to get to the line, we need to walk 6 blocks around to the line, go through the line, then walk 3 blocks through the area where the crowd will be to the stage!
There were about 140 people in line at 3:30PM but many fans milling around. (Somewhat easy to spot people in Adam shirts.)
They did set up an area in front of the stage (1/2 of front section) for the Premium Pit ticket holders. So that part all worked out.
Stage is small, but the sound in great and they have done a really good job of setting this up.
It is going to be very hard for fans to video this concert. They are doing a full bag check. But I am sure that people will be videoing this concert.
And they have great taste in music -- right now Adam soundcheck "Shout".
